Studies of Biosphere and Environment / Ed. by S. A. Ostroumov et al. – Moscow: MAKS Press, 2017. – 160 p. (Ecological Studies, Hazards, Solutions. Volume 24). ISBN 978-5-317-05667-4. This collection contains articles on topical problems of environmental sciences, ecology, biology, and also contains the proceedings of the scientific conference «Ecological and Biological Systems», which was held under the auspices of the section of the Moscow Society of Researchers of Nature (MOIP, June 23, 2016) and other scientific and educational materials. The conference continued the tradition of a series of conferences and scientific sessions «Ecosystems, Organisms, Innovations». Most of these scientific forums took place in Russia (in Moscow), one of them took place in the United States. The conference is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the publication of the book «Introduction to Biochemical Ecology», published in 1986 by the Moscow University Press, and the 10th anniversary of the publication of the book «Biological Effects of Surfactants» (2006, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis). The first of them laid the foundations of a new scientific discipline, biochemical ecology. The second book was the first English-language monograph on ecotoxicology of detergents. The authors of the articles in this collection are MSU staff, scientists from other universities and institutes in Russia and other countries. The publication is of interest to specialists in the field of ecology, hydrobiology, oceanology, zoology, botany, environmental sciences, as well as for teachers of higher education. The names of the new awardees of the honorary titles – Aquatic Ecologist of Year, Ecologist of Year, and Environmental Scientist of Year – are published. ISBN 978-5-317-05667-4 .

Данный сборник содержит статьи по актуальным проблемам наук об окружающей среде, экологии, биологии, а также содержит труды научной конференции «Экологические и биологические системы», которая прошла под эгидой секции МОИП (23.06.2016) и другие научные и учебно-методические материалы. Конференция продолжила традицию серии конференций и научных сессий «Экосистемы, организмы, инновации». Большинство этих научных форумов проходило в РФ (в Москве), один из них состоялся в США. Конференция посвящена 30-летию со дня выхода книги «Введение в биохимическую экологию», изданной в 1986 году издательством Московского университета, и 10-летию со дня выхода книги «Biological Effects of Surfactants» (2006, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis). В первой из них были заложены основы новой научной дисциплины, биохимической экологии. Вторая книга стала первой англоязычной монографией по экотоксикологии детергентов. Авторы статей данного сборника – сотрудники МГУ, ученые других университетов и институтов России и других стран. Издание представляет интерес для специалистов в области экологии, гидробиологии, океанологии, зоологии, ботаники, наук об окружающей среде, а также для преподавателей высшей школы.
