November 5th: As part of their ongoing campaign against the Jack the Ripper museum in
London, the Class War Women's Death Brigade was back at its Cable Street building to call
for its closure. ---- Photo journalist Peter Marshall notes: ---- They say the so-called
museum' exploits violence against women, making money from images of sexually mutilated
women, and encourages the attitudes that lead to violent sexual assaults like the recent
attack on a 17 year old young woman in Tower Hamlets who was subjected to a number of
rapes on the street and was found collapsed on the doorstep of one of the women taking
part in the protest, who saved her from further assaults by calling the police. ---- The
tourist attraction has failed to remove shutters and signage which were deemed illegal by
Tower Hamlets council a year ago, including a poster which was partly ripped off the shop
front in the protest. Patrick, dressed as Father Brannigan performed a series of
exorcisms. One of two security guards standing in front of the shop roughly pushed several
of the protesters who challenged the few visitors entering and leaving the shop. It took
police half an hour to arrive and they argued with the protesters wanting them to move
away from the shop but with little success.

On Wednesday, 15 November, in the national cellar at Str. Street there will be a meeting
with MEP Robert Winnicki, a member of the Nationalist Movement. As a result, the coalition
of Poznan social circles, whose common denominator is anti-fascism and
anti-discrimination, decided to show that fascist politicians are not welcome in Poznan.
---- In response to the protest, Poznan fascists under the banner of the All-Polish Youth
decided to organize a confrontational event at the same time and place to blur the context
and message of our protest and present it as a subcultural confrontation of two extreme
groups. ---- Right-wing media immediately picked up on the subject with headlines: "Antifa
is chasing friends from France and Germany. They want to make a mess in Poznan "," Antifa
is preparing for a brawl in Poznan "or as the local portal says:" Will there be riots in
Poznan? Poland Antifa calls for help from friends in France and Germany. "

We inform you that we will not allow ourselves into any imaginary games or stories about
the mythical "German Antifie". The local environment that opposes racist, fascist and
xenophobic trends and trends is made up of tenants, trade unions and feminists,
representatives of grassroots social movements and non-governmental organizations.

The event to be held in Rybak is open and peaceful. We want to create a space where
everyone will be able to participate and feel safe. Our goal is not to confront only
public manifestation of opposition to nationalism.

We are protesting against nationalism because it is a tool for the control of the people
of society. Nationalism strengthens the divisions between employees. Nationalism strikes
migrants, minorities and other socially disadvantaged groups. Nationalism attacks ordinary
people: workers from Ukraine, students from the East, mothers from Asian children instead
of those who generate poverty and inequality.

We are not surprised by the fact that Mrs Winnicki is appealing to ban the assembly
because of the possibility of riots and demands that the Interior Minister take decisive
police action. Such methods are used by totalitarian politicians. Politicians who do not
mind cooperating or inviting representatives of the Italian neo-fascist Forza Nuova to
Poland. Roberto Fiore, the current FN leader, was a member of the terrorist group Nuclei
Armati Rivoluzionari (NAR), responsible for the bombing of the Bologna railway station in
1980. , in which 85 people died.

We do not intimidate, we will not provoke.
Free from Nationalism!

In recent years the London Anarchist Bookfair (LABF) has has been plagued with incidents
of racism, misogyny, transphobia, abelism and other forms of bigotry. These have often led
to physical confrontation. While it is impossible to stop all problems from occurring,
many incidents would have been prevented entirely and others swiftly ended if the LABF
collective had chosen to act. ---- Many individuals, groups and organisations have
attempted to engage with the LABF collective in order to help put in place structures to
prevent these unacceptable failures from repeating. Despite this the LABF collective deny
any responsibility for the space they create and have refused to take action to remove
bigots from their event. In some cases the event organisers have actively defended bigots.
To justify their behavior the LABF collective put forward liberal notions of free speech
that are not compatible with anarchist organising.

Rather than being a showcase event for anarchism in the region, the LABF now actively
sabotages the spread of anarchist ideas and methods through the working class. The bigotry
allowed to flourish at the LABF has no place in modern working class liberatory movements.
At this point having no LABF would be better than having the current event carry on as-is.

Given this situation, we the undersigned will no longer be associated with the London
Anarchist Bookfair until the problems we note have been addressed. This means we will not
have a stall, host any meetings, take out advertising space in the programme, or in any
way promote or support the event. The problems are a result of the structures of
organisation, political orientation, and informal culture at the bookfair. As such we will
only consider associating with the bookfair once the LABF collective have undertaken the
following actions:

The LABF collective publicly post a concise outline of their politics in regard to what
behaviors they find acceptable/unacceptable at the LABF. This should make clear the types
of bigotry they find unacceptable at their event.
The LABF collective outline the structure and processes that they will attempt to follow
if someone acts outside of the bounds of what they find acceptable by those attending
their event.
The LABF collective demonstrate that they actually mean their stated political position
for the event and attempt to act in good faith with regard to the structures they have
created to maintain it.

Editorial: The silence of impunity

There are some who have been outraged by the wave of reports on the Internet of harassers
and other sex offenders. It would seem that it is a question of the presumption of
innocence. And that we should let "  justice  " do its job. In reality, it is always the
same thing: whether to denounce police violence or sexual violence, there are always some
good souls to be the advocates of the executioners.

Yes, public denunciation of these is violence. But violence that breaks the social status
and prestige in which the stalkers drape themselves. A violence that destroys the
illusions on which the power of the executioners rests on their victims. It is a necessary
violence. Because this is only a response to a much larger violence. One that is empowered
by those who have power over others and benefit from it on a daily basis. A violence that
often destroys in silence.

This silence is the mask of impunity. And the sound its worst enemy. Because what the
denunciations bring to light is all the solidarity that connects the executioners to their
defenders, and is the product of a powerful systemic domination. Against this one, the
fight can not rest on nuances or hesitations. To take the party of the noise is already to
free oneself from the silence of the impunity.

This year's Extraordinary Congress of the International Workers Association (IAA) took
place in Belgrade (Serbia) last weekend.
For the first time an IAA congress was held in the Balkan region. Dozens of comrades from
around the world gathered to make resolutions on some urgent and topical issues, discuss
various issues, and discuss how anarcho-syndicalists can organize themselves in the
workplace and spread the fight.
The congress program also included two evenings full of lectures, including an art
exhibition and a social gathering. A report on the work of Congress wants to publish the
IAA Secretariat soon.

The movement against the ordinances showed the current difficulty to build convergences.
However, we will need more than ever against future attacks, which will subordinate the
rules of unemployment insurance and vocational training to the needs of employers. ----
Trade union activists who had lucidly analyzed the difficulty of striking off their
colleagues and expanding the mobilization in 2016 were anxiously awaiting the sequence
opened by the Macron Orders. They did not count on the CFDT, which must be measured as
indicated by its first place in the private sector. But they did not expect the betrayal
of Mailly, whose putting in minority in the National Confederal Committee of FO at the end
of September produces hardly any visible effects. When at the FSU, she had clearly bet on
the inter-union of the public service by focusing the mobilization on claims, certainly
real, officials.

In this context, the choice of the CGT to plant dates without negotiating them can be
understood, but this way of doing does not help the construction of the unit. The obvious
refusal of a tte--tte with Solidaires will eventually pay for itself too. Let's add
that Mlenchon's initiative on Saturday, September 23, and the arrogance of his criticism
against the unions [1]are contributing to the environmental turmoil !

Here the operation "  Hunting HRD  ", consisting of disrupting a meeting of HRD in a
restaurant in the Bois de Boulogne on October 12 finds an original place. On the one hand
because it is urgent that the bosses, their ministers, their deputies and their HRM know,
feel, a little of the social insecurity in which we immerses their aggressive policy; on
the other hand, because it is positive to succeed in getting unionists and activists in
the leadership to act together, opening a dialogue between two generations and two
political conceptions. In Nantes, even the CGT understood the interest of the thing. By
mixing media actions and surprise actions, it is possible with a few hundred activists to
give back the punch to union action. A return to the historical methods of revolutionary
syndicalism.

The cabin "House of the people" in Nantes during the event of October 10, 2017. (c) ValK
Following the broad inter-union of October 24, the call to strike on November 16 the CGT,
FO, Solidaires, Unef, Unl and Fidl is the result of an unsatisfactory compromise. It is
weak against prescriptions and on public / private convergence. He offers us once again a
day without tomorrow. All combative union teams have understood that such a day will not
serve more than the previous to back down Macron and bosses. So how to move towards real
enlargement ? By trying to use the chance given by this day to build at the base, with AG
in companies and localities, a strike renewable.

A recession period of the social movement is conducive to all settling of accounts,
including internally organizations. At the SNCF, we approach the caricature when SUD-Rail
calls for a strike without the CGT on October 10, then the CGT without SUD on the 19th.
The difficulties to build an "  all together  " also legitimize the corporatist
withdrawal: drivers, dockers and soon refineries will seek to use their professional
balance of power to protect themselves, partially, prescriptions. But it is also a period
that favors all outbidding, whether leftist or emanating from intermediate directions in
the CGT for example. Some of these directions, which usually refuse to act for the
concrete construction of the strike when it is "  playable ", Seem at ease to talk about
it when it is not likely to overflow them in real !

Today we have more calls for convergence than real convergences. The appeal launched
around the Copernic foundation, that launched around Solidaires, that of the Social Front.
In the cities, activists sometimes gather under one or another label and so much better if
it allows to build concrete actions and local solidarity but it is usually an empty shell.

Let us formulate a proposal that has not been attempted: call a three-day general strike
to allow local inter-unions to meet in AG and decide local events and massive blocking
actions to be successful. On the evening of the third day, it is time for the GA to take
stock.

Strengthening the control of the unemployed

Organizing an effective response is all the more urgent as the attacks will continue.
Consultations with union and employer confederations have begun with a view to future
social reforms of the government. They concern unemployment insurance, vocational training
and apprenticeship.

While we still have limited information on their content, the government's announcements
allow us to identify some of the issues. With regard to unemployment insurance, the
current paritarianism assured by Undic should disappear and place it under the complete
supervision of the State. Yet it was one of the social conquests of the post-war period.
As a reminder, unemployment insurance was initially a social security issue. But the
creation of Undic in 1957 was for FO the opportunity to double the CGT and become, in
this field, the interlocutor of employers. Removing Undic and substituting an increase in
the generalized social contribution (CSG), which is a tax, to the unemployment insurance
premiums is a clear message to the government about its intention to end remains, despite
everything, a conquest of the labor movement. By taking Undic out of joint management,
the State will decide on the amounts and terms of unemployment compensation. Its
subordination to the employer's interests is no more than to hand over to Medef the keys
to the management of unemployment insurance.

It is still too early to clearly identify the future unemployment insurance that will
emerge from this reform. But it is feared a harmonization of the French system on the
English and German models. Provision can be made for a lump sum indemnity financed by the
CSG, with a potential compensatory supplement financed by employer contributions.

For the government, an effective public employment service should have as its main mission
to put pressure on private employees to accept jobs that are more and more precarious and
less in less well paid. The recent declarations of Pierre Gattaz and the spokesman of the
government Christophe Castaner join the campaign promises of Emmanuel Macron: the missions
of Pole employment will be redirected towards an increase of the sanctions and the control
of the unemployed, in particular in case of refusal of a job offer.

As far as vocational training and apprenticeship are concerned, this is also a whole
project of society which points to the reforms ahead. Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Michel
Blanquer have, on a number of occasions, described the vocational high schools and the
apprentice training centers as duplicates. Their goal: to suppress the first for the
benefit of the latter. Because in terms of initial training, vocational high schools are
the result of long struggles to educate, in public education, minors receiving vocational
training. This schooling has made it possible to set up balanced training courses,
including general subjects, which are more permanent and emancipatory for the social
integration of individuals. On the contrary, apprenticeships remain under the tutelage of
the professional branches,

Finally, wanting to reform lifelong learning may seem laudable, with the government
announcing its desire to strengthen the criteria for labeling training organizations. But
the project is somewhat misleading if we remember that the policies in this area for
fifteen years now have mainly consisted in the dismantling of public bodies - Afpa and
Greta - for the benefit of private pharmacies ...

Jean-Yves Lesage (AL 93) and Franois Molinier (friend of AL)

[1] By sending the unions back to the old world, Mlenchon tries to make us forget that
the demoralization, the demobilization, the precariousness of the workers are the result
of the liberal policies led by a PS of which he remained a member and guarantor for so
long ...

In the period from 1.01.2017 to 30.08.2017, tens of thousands of trees were cut in the
Bialowieza Primeval Forest from which 71 104 m3 of wood were harvested. The State Forests
Corporation, through lobbying, layouts and business relationships, is lobbying for a
comfortable law for itself and with impunity cuts priceless natural areas. The current
minister of the environment, the hunter, who follows the principle of "make yourself a
subjected land", definitely facilitates this type of activity. Jan Szyszko, in one of his
speeches, called the Bialowieza Forest "the flagship of the left-liberal milieus of
Western Europe" - which proves that we are dealing with ideologized action, an attempt to
prove that the common good is limited. ---- The Ministry of the Environment is trying to
argue against the devastation of the last natural lowland forest in Europe - barking or
public safety - which is a shameless manipulation.

The benefits of the devastation of the natural environment draw on only a few and
privileged. The General Directorate of State Forests, which manages 25% of the country's
area, earns annual profits of 300-400 million. zl. In 2016 the State Forests corporation
sold 7.5 billion zlotys of timber, of which no taxes were levied on our common budget. We
do not agree to the destruction of wildlife, which is a value in itself! We say firmly not
to commercial exploitation of forests, from the so-called. A rational hunting economy
after cutting down trees in areas that are not economic forests!

In response to the looting policy of the Polish government, we decided to take part in the
occupation of the institution responsible for the destruction of the global ecosystem.
(The forest is not a matter of Poland alone. The State Forests Corporation does not
respect the right of the public to decide what we can all use and what we share. There is
no consensus on the appropriation of the common good, because the forest is not a company!
Enough devastation in the name of profits and particular interests!

I have been working in Poznan for over a dozen years. I write "already" because in this
factory time flies very fast. In order to be employed by VW, I had to work for the
Temporary Work Service agency for three years. I do not know an agency worker whose
forensics would not blackmail him, as if he would refuse to work in overtime, he would not
extend the contract. I had to sign a contract for a month. Therefore, every month the man
was exposed to huge stress. ---- Although VW is Solidarity, from my perspective, it mainly
focuses on recruiting workers from temporary employment agencies to VW and collecting from
their contributions. They ensure that when you join a union they will help you when
problems arise with the employer. Membership in the union is also intended to increase the
guarantee of employment for an indefinite period. People often join the union only because
there are a lot of loyalists who decide to extend the contract or to postpone a better
position. I signed up for Solidarity in the first year of employment when I was employed
by the agency. After the first blackmail on my part, I decided to tell the representatives
of Solidarity. I did not know that at the time, Most of the masters are members of
Solidarity and have a much stronger position in them than the agency workers. I was told
that the superintendent has the right to use his position to force me to perform
"voluntary" overtime. After three years of employment on a junk contract and signing a
contract with VW I did not renew the declaration of joining the union.

If workers felt they were being exploited, for example by extorting overtime work from
masters and department heads, or because they had been banned by the management, I told
them they were in Solidarity, so let them report it. Then there was silence. You can even
speak in your own way. Each of the serial employees knows that Solidarity and its
management hold most of the crew in check. These are specific arrangements, specific
money, specific stools and careers. This relationship is simply an integral part of the
concern. Without Solidarity, the management would have had more problems getting the
crew's permission for undue hikes or screwing up the standards. The association often
assists the board in silencing the crew.

There is also a system for assessing employees. A guaranteed raise may be received after
five years. However, there are those who have not had an increase for seven years, because
in that period they had fallen ill. Those who have completed their studies in VW's
patronage are also cheated. VW after graduation is guaranteed entry to grade 3 and work in
a profession. In the meantime, graduates are often employed at level 1 of the grade and
are forced to work on the assembly line, which is below their qualification.

For years, more and more people in the factory have been discouraged from Solidarity. In
2010, there was a time for wage negotiations that did not produce any results. Solidarity
announced a strike in which it was difficult to believe. Eventually, however, it turned
out to be just a theater. The strike was that the production was in full swing and that no
one was allowed to disturb it, and the union of some thirty people stood under the window
of the president inside the factory and made noise. Such a noise so that no one outside of
the factory would find out about it. Later it was only worse. Relation was all about:
anti-crisis packages, flexible work, where after long weeks of production stagnation had
to be done at the time of Saturday. We were not paid for parking, as is the case with
other factories. In 2011, We were forced to work on weekends and so it was. We were still
being told that there was a crisis. Production increased and Sunday supplement was reduced
by 50%. In 2014, an idea was developed among the crew to create a relationship that would
be independent of the board. Of course, Solidarity reacted to the idea by saying that
there could be only one link in the plant. What many employees believe. Further wage
negotiations took place in 2015 and linda. Again the theater and "rescue jobs", ie
deterioration of its conditions. People were increasingly frustrated. There is only one
compound in the plant. What many employees believe. Further wage negotiations took place
in 2015 and linda. Again the theater and "rescue jobs", ie deterioration of its
conditions. People were increasingly frustrated. There is only one compound in the plant.
What many employees believe. Further wage negotiations took place in 2015 and linda. Again
the theater and "rescue jobs", ie deterioration of its conditions. People were
increasingly frustrated.

This year, we were informed about the VW strike in Bratislava. When we felt that it was
our fight, the relationship was put on the side of the corporation. He said it was better
to sit quietly than to fight for his. People said enough and despite obstacles they
decided to set up an independent trade union. The employee, and in fact the hero who
worked for 18 years and persuaded others through social media to finally organize
independently from the board, was immediately released. Behind him was another two. After
all, the crew did not give up and the union was formed. Solidarity instead of defending
the dismissed ostentatiously in the media, she put on the side of the management, which
freed our colleagues. Shortly after the founding of the Solidarity Workers' Committee,
further wage negotiations began. Since I was working in the factory, I first began to
report their course. So far, it has claimed that the trade union "mountain" during the
negotiations can not provide any details, but that "we will eventually be satisfied." This
way the crew was always confused. She did not know whether to support union negotiators or
demand more than they did.

In October it was time for a summary of the year by the board. He called the meeting for
the staff. It just heated up the atmosphere. At the meeting, Jolanta Musielak, a member of
the Human Resources Management Board, spoke to us, starting by telling us how good it was.
In her opinion we usually earn 6,000. zl. although in reality it is about 3 thousand. zl.
on hand. Later classic in the form of tables, which show rise in wages in recent years.
Why do these calculations? The fact is that this year people have started comparing PITs
from previous years and have come out that their earnings, instead of growing, are
falling. At that moment something broke. People have not taken it. How much can you cheat,
lie to live? There were whistling, hum, shuffling. People felt confident. The crew already
knew that Solidarity had come in contact with the management and started the show. When
her chairman stated that she needed to take care of the company's financial liquidity and
protect the workplace, people incredulously laughed under their noses. Solidarity's
management and operations have been cooperating with it since last summer under greater
pressure from the crew, and the existence of a new union only exacerbates this pressure.
