Deal between ISIS and the Syrian regime in Deir ez-Zor It came out that the Syrian regime and ISIS engaged in talks and plans against the SDF. Accordingly, the regime will open the way for ISIS gangs to cross into SDF areas in Deir ezZor territory. The Syrian Baath regime is after dirty schemes as it faces a deadlock and failure to make progress despite utilizing all technical means in its operation on Deir ez-Zor with the support of Iran and Russia. According to reliable sources on the ground, a deal was made between ISIS and the Syrian regime, according to which the regime will open way for the ISIS gangs that will leave Deir ez-Zor city centre to cross into areas liberated by SDF. For this reason, the agencies and media outlets of the regime are spreading news that Deir ezZor has been liberated by Syrian forces. In a statement on October 20, SDF forces announced that the Syrian regime had sent an ISIS convoy into their areas via the Salihiyah route on Oct. 18. The statement said that SDF forces noticed and neutralized the convoy of the gangs. https://anfenglish.com/news/deal-between-isis-and-the-syrian-regime-in-deir-ez-zor-23032 Attacks on Efrn continue Gangs affiliated to the Turkish army continue their attacks on Efrn, facing retaliation from the YPG/YPJ fighters. On the other hand, the Turkish army continues to build a wall at the border. According to YPG sources, the Turkish army and affiliated gangs attacked the Qestel Hill and the villages of Ayn Daqna and Maranez in Efrns Shera district with heavy weaponry yesterday. Hawar news agency interviewed a number of people from Adlib city who have been displaced to Aleppo since the beginning of the Syrian crisis and the entry of mercenaries into the city. They called for SDF to liberate their city and restore freedom to it. The citizen Mahmoud Adlibi who displaced five years ago towards Aleppo, and lives in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood said I was obliged to displace from Adlib city because of the brutal practices of the mercenaries against us. They have arrested me three times, kidnapped my children, looted my possessions and they continue repeating their brutal practices against our remaining families in Adlib. Mahmoud Adlibi continued We appeal to SDF to liberate our cities and our people from the mercenaries oppression. The people have lost their patience and their lives have become like hell. Now, it is the time for their hell to turn into a paradise, and we are greatly confident that SDF would meet our appeal, liberate us and deter the Turkish occupation from the city. In the same context, the citizen Leila Bittar said that as the people of Adlib city migrated their homes, their lands were robbed by the mercenaries, and the worst crimes committed against their young women wondering is this Islam which the mercenaries of Erdogan pretend? .. Tens of thousands of people fled the city during the offensive, reducing Raqqa to a ghost town of collapsed buildings. The SDF said in an online statement on Sunday that hundreds of families had returned to AlMeshleb, Raqqa's easternmost district. "The SDF informed civilians from Al-Meshleb that they could return to their homes after mineremoval teams had finished clearing the entire neighborhood of explosives left indiscriminately in civilian homes by IS," the force's press center said. It said the district was the first to which residents had returned since the city's "liberation from Daesh", an Arabic acronym for ISIS. After capturing Raqqa, the SDF sealed off the city to allow for mine removal operations in bombed-out neighborhoods. Residents often amassed at checkpoints in recent weeks, waiting for permission to access the city and see if their homes were still standing. Some civilians who sneaked in were killed by unexploded ordnance. .. Residents say that Turkish soldiers are preventing them from harvesting olives. The Hawar news agency has reported that Turkish border guards are opening fire at villagers living at bordering villages almost daily as farmers went to their fields to pick olives. The Turkish army gendarmerie stationed on the borders adjacent to their village target our cars as we go to the fields to harvest the olives, while the gendarmerie shoots at us during the olive harvest to frighten us and push us to leave our goods, said Muhammed Beyram from the Shaltah village in Shera district. Beyram pointed out that the targeting of Turkish soldiers to their fields resulted in material damage to their trees. The Turkish army reportedly has uprooted 150 forest trees in the Balia village of Rajo district yesterday. http://en.hawarnews.com/turkish-occupation-targets-civilians-denies-them-harvesting-olive/ 6 Assad: Syrian regime to fight Kurds after defeating Islamic State DAMASCUS, Syria (Kurdistan 24) President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday said Syrias army and its allies would keep fighting in the country even after defeating the Islamic State (IS). Al-Assads remarks came during his meeting with Ali Akbar Velayati, the foreign policy adviser to Irans Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Syrian state news agency SANA reported. He indicated that the war in Syria might evolve to include the Kurdish-led, US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) which are still fighting IS in Syria and control more than a quarter of the country. The war waged by the Syrian Arab Army and allied forces is not only against terrorism but at the same time against attempts to exploit terrorism to divide and weaken states, Assads office quoted him as saying. Two weeks ago, the SDF, of which the Kurdish YPG is a key component, took full control of the city of Raqqa, the previous stronghold and capital of the now-demolished IS caliphate. On Friday, Velayati said the Syrian army would soon advance on Raqqa to retake the city from the SDF and accused the United States of seeking to divide Syria by deploying its forces east of the Euphrates. Assads top advisor, Bouthaina Shaaban, also said in a televised interview that Damascus would not give up on the northern city of Raqqa. ..
