Taylor Swift To Headline Two CBS Radio Holiday Shows

Taylor Swift has scheduled two concerts for December: San Jose, Calif. radio station KMVQ 99.7 Now!’s Poptopia on December 2 and Chicago’s WBBM-FM B96 Jingle Bash on December 7.

While the performances are likely to be brief and only include a handful of songs — the concerts are teen-targeted, multi-act radio station holiday shows and also feature acts like Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Backstreet Boys and Khalid — they do represent Swift’s first concerts since a special Super Bowl week show in Houston in February.

A rep for the singer confirmed the concerts but did not respond to Variety’s question about a time frame on a full tour announcement.

The singer has been unexpectedly quiet since the late-summer release of two songs, “Look What You Made Me Do” and “Ready for It,” and the announcement that her sixth studio album, “Reputation,” will be released on Nov. 10.
