ActionAid Zambia is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of HROD Manager.
HUMAN RESOURCE AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (HROD) MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS
The preferred candidate must meet the following qualifications;
Have an MBA or a master’s degree in Organization development/Human Resource Management/Strategic Management or its equivalent from a recognized University;
Have at least five (10) years working experience in human resource management/ organisational development function in an INGO or a large organization of which at least five (5) years must have been at senior management position;
Is a member of The Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management and has a valid practicing certificate.
Has good knowledge of Zambian Labour laws and employee relations systems; and
Proven experience in leading, supporting and motivating staff and teams.
PROGRAM MANAGER – WOMENS RIGHTS
JOB PURPOSE
The job holder shall be responsible for leading successful integration and promotion of women’s rights within ActionAid Zambia’s programme thematic areas in line with the Country Strategy Paper. The job holder shall demonstrate ambition and desire to promote feminism as an ideology, an approach to programming and a part of the organisational culture; driving the values and approaches of ActionAid Zambia’s programming from a feminist perspective.
The job holder will also be expected to build capacity of staff and partners; women and girls from communities living in poverty and exclusion to gain power to secure their rights through conceptualizing, designing and mobilizing resources and implementing women focused interventions.
