A very special thank you note

Luc,
There's no denying that the global LGBT community has faced month after month of obstacles and tragedies so far this year.
From fights for Pride, to legal battles for equal rights, to arrests and violence, All Out members like you rally for the rights of our community all year long.
And it truly makes a difference, Luc. That's why we wanted to share with you some of the latest moves towards equality you've made possible in the past few months.
Emergency in Azerbaijan
In an unprecedented crackdown, more than 80 people were arrested in the country of Azerbaijan under suspicion of being LGBT.
They were hunted down, beaten, tortured with electric shocks, and forced to undergo traumatic "medical examinations".
Thanks to the generosity of over 1,250 All Out members, our partners at Minority Azerbaijan will be able to provide crucial support for victims with safe housing and legal help.
Victory in Italy!
Costantino is a straight firefighter who marched in Pride wearing his uniform in Italy. But soon after, he found out that he could be fired because of it.
More than 55,000 All Out members spoke out and urged the Italian National Fire Corps not to fire him for showing solidarity with the LGBT community.
And it worked! October 18th was the last day they could legally fire Costantino. Thanks to the global pressure, Constantino still has a job and a precedent has been set.
Helping hate crime victims in Serbia
LGBT hate crime victims in Serbia are often left alone, afraid and helpless. They can't access the right support and have no means to fight for justice in court.
In partnership with YUCOM (the Lawyer's Committee for Human Rights), All Out launched our first campaign ever in Serbia. 1,000 All Out members donated to help fund free legal support for 30 LGBT people affected by hate crimes in Serbia.
Stay tuned for more on our work with partners on the ground in Serbia, as we continue to help lift up their fight.
###
From the entire All Out team, thank you for making these victories possible! There are still plenty of battles ahead. The only way we'll see more wins like these is if we continue to have your support.
Thanks for going All Out,
Matt and the rest of the All Out team
