All are welcomed to enjoy music and mulled wine in a traditional setting with over 36 styles of art arranged beautifully to ensure your experience is never boring. Everywhere you look, there’s art! An hour or so into the evening there will be a short presentation in the Secret Garden to launch a new community art project hosted by Chakra Gallery '12 Figurines' - 12 Artists. 12 Figurines. One Mission. The driving force behind the project is to promote the cultural heritage of our island and to raise awareness of recent excavations and progress at archaeological sites within the Paphos region. The presentation will begin with a short talk by Geoff Cosson, group leader of ‘The Third Age’ archaeological group in Paphos and will finish with Sharen Taylor, mosaic artist and conservation specialist, who will give a brief talk on the driving force behind this project and upcoming plans. Each one of twelve selected artists from the Charka Artist Network will be presented a ceramic reproduction of the Cruciform figurine later on this month and tasked with personalising it according to his/her artistic style. Details are yet to be released on the future of the completed collection. They are handmade by local artist Lee-Anne Raw with support from Panicos Georgiades, ceramic engineer at Savvas Pottery, Koloni. SUPPORT 'THE CANCER PATIENTS SUPPORT GROUP' The Cancer Patients Support Group will also be present selling raffle tickets for the upcoming 'Luxury Christmas Raffle'; a cause dedicated to the Pasykaf Cyprus nurses. We'll be celebrating the start of the season throughout the evening with mulled wine, nibbles and Christmas cheer. We hope you can join us!
