People are dying trying to escape

In an attempt to escape the violence, thousands of people are now believed to be stranded in the mountains of northern Rakhine State. Human Rights Have No Borders Dear friends, Today, Rohingya people are being targeted and killed in Myanmar. Their homes are being burned down. Men, women and children are fleeing for their lives. This has been called ‘a textbook example of ethnic cleansing.’* They’ve been forced to leave their whole lives behind in search of safety in Bangladesh. Thousands arrive there every day. Traumatised and exhausted with nowhere to go. Just weeks ago, in an attempt to seek safety by fishing boat — children have drowned.
