With the new implementation of Tourism Tax by Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) which will take effect from 1st September, 2017, all tourists are liable to pay for tourism tax to hotel operator with RM10 per room per night upon check-out except the following tourists are exempted from the payment of the whole of tourism tax;
1) A tourist who is Malaysian National, and
2) A tourist who is a permanent resident of Malaysia.
Please inform all your guests respectively on the above implementation.
