After leaving Little Current we spent a couple of days anchored out waiting for winds to die down. We then moved over to Mary Ann cove in Bay Fine where we met up again with Dave and Linda and some of the other cruisers we had met at Fox Island. We also met some cruisers who we had met 5 years ago in the Bahamas. They recognized our boat and called out to Al to re-introduce themselves, another reminder of how small the cruising community is.

After Killarney we continued east anchoring at Franklin Island where we took the dinghy over to Gillies for fish and chips at Snug Harbour. We then moved to Heart Island before arriving at Midland where we enjoyed the Tug Boat festival and rented a car to pick up Johnny for a visit. We spent several days anchoring and hiking around Beausolais Island and ended up in Penatangueshene where we anchored off of Heritage Place Museum and dropped Johnny off before heading back to Midland to have the mast stepped for our trip down the Trent.
We have entered the Trent and are now in Fenlon Falls celebrating Al's 60th Birthday with his family. We will continue down the Trent and post again when we have Internet access.
