The DACA decision is classic Trumpism: bad policy designed only to placate his nativist base, a rollout rank with hypocrisy and bad faith, and a craven effort to shift blame. Trump didn't have to do this, he didn't have to do it in this way -- and his own people weren't sure he even understood the consequences of doing it
