We`ll Come United - Newsletter #3

German version
Dear friends!

We’ve got one month to go until then we’ll come united: on 16th of September in Berlin we’ll meet at the great parade for freedom of movement and for equal rights. Our mobilization is in full swing: networking in refugee camps, working on our community contacts, distributing flyers, meeting at information assemblies, preparing the trucks with different political motives, chartering buses. There is no summer break for the antiracist resistance anyway - not for the fights against deportations and certainly not for the people at the external borders in the Mediterranean. This is also the power of our common mobilization: we just bring to the streets of the capital on the 16th of September the and into the publicity of the general election, the issues that thousands of people are fighting for every day and in every place, without a break. We already stated in our call: "Now it's time to raise our voices together. We are much more than we think! We'll come United!"

. We are many - the upcoming parade

There are now nearly 20 trucks and countless announced contributions. On our current list are trucks from Lampedusa in Hamburg, Arrivati on tour, City Plaza, Feminist Network, Youth Without Borders, Bleibistan – against Deportations to Afghanistan, Solidarity City Network, Oromo Community, Theater X, Never mind the papers, Alliance against Dublin deportations, Ferries not Frontex, CommUNITY Carnival, Dewalling the Wall, Women's Empowerment and the young people from the school in Nürnberg that got famous because of their protests against a deportation of their friend.
We will start at 16th September in front of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. We’ve got more and better reasons to start here than ever. Here is the place where the driving forces of the deadly EU border regime perform their work, being responsible for deportations and deprivation of rights. And we finish our parade at the Oranienplatz, also for good reasons: this place is still a central symbol of the self-organized refugee struggles.
From Mitte to Kreuzberg: it will be a colorful parade, a political carnival, an anti-racist manifestation.

.Urgent call for donations

Our biggest problem currently is: We really need money. First of all for the bus and train tickets for the refugees. To enable the biggest possible involvement of the refugee communities is the heart of our mobilization. We have quite many groups which want to join the parade and are preparing actively, but struggle with financing their bus by themselves. We want to enable these initiatives to participate. Please help collecting and help with donations it to our central account.
