As Product Owner, you will be involved in a major revamp of our Zambian office for offering, hiring and overseeing the team that ensures consistent alignment of our content to the revised primary school syllabus. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years’ overseeing development of complex software, ideally as product owner/manager.
Experience with using or building content management systems is highly desirable.
SENIOR EDUCATION CONTENT EDITOR
As Senior Editor, you will manage a team of up to 4 other editors all reviewing and updating iSchool’s teacher lesson plans and animated content. Our lessons offer full curriculum coverage across all subjects for Grades 1 to 7.
Candidate must have 5+ years’ experience editing and proofreading educational materials and 3+ years’ experience as a primary school teacher, including experience of under-resourced environments.
EDUCATIONAL CONTENT EDITORS
As Editor, you will review and update teacher lesson plans on our existing content across all subjects for Grades 1 to 7, ensuring they cover the Zambian curriculum objectives.
The ideal candidate should have 3 years’ experience as a primary school teacher, preferably including under-resourced environments. Some experience of writing or editing educational materials is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Zambian culture and the primary school syllabus is highly advantageous.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Senior Project Manager responsible for managing the SMART Zambia project and ensuring projects are delivered successfully. Responsibilities include managing projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring delivery is on-time, within budget and to scope. This includes managing project cash flow and budgets, preparing a monthly summary report to management. Candidates must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in management, business or related field with 3 to 5 years working experience in project management and project management methodologies, e.g. PRINCE II.
