After the concert, Polis and friends will perform music from the international repertoire: Jazz, Bee Gees, Neil Diamond and others.
The Charalambous Trio features Stephanie Charalambous (piano) a graduate of the Sofia State Academy Pancho Vladigerov. She then continued her Master’s degree on piano at the New Bulgarian University. She is now for more than 10 years the main piano teacher at the Paphos Academy of Fine Arts (Polis Charalambous) also giving concerts since 2005 as soloist or part of the trio. Alexis Charalambous (violin) is a
graduate of the New Bulgarian University as violin soloist and when returning to Paphos he took over the violin class of the Paphos Academy of fine arts (Polis Charalambous) also giving many concert as soloist or part of the trio. Polis Charalambous (guitar) is the founder of the Paphos Academy of Fine Arts (Polis Charalambous) since 1984, giving the chance to hundreds of students to follow music. He is a holder of many music degrees such as guitar diploma of the Trinity College, harmony, counterpoint, fugue diplomas, and also he is a Fellow of the University of West London in music. In his career he has given numerous concerts from classical to jazz, ethnic and even Pop and Rock music.
Paphos Guitar Duet comprises Polis Charalambous and Andreas Savva. Andreas is a student of Polis Charalambous taking ALCM guitar diploma next year: 2018. His talent in music is really outstanding.
