Sky Predators: Russian MiG-35 Mass Production Expected to Begin in 2 Years

Mass production of the Russian MiG-35 multirole fighter jet is expected to begin during the next two years.
LUKHOVITSY, (Sputnik) — The MiG Russian Aircraft Corporation will begin mass production of the MiG-35 4++ generation multirole fighter in the next two years following the end of tests, Director General Ilya Tarasenko said Friday.
The company is considering cooperation not only with the Russian Aerospace Forces, but also with the foreign partners in the next two or three years, Tarasenko added.
The MiG-35 is a multipurpose generation 4++ fighter and an advanced derivative of the original MiG-29 fighter, featuring improved combat capability and flight performance characteristics. It is capable of speeds up to 2,700 kilometers per hour (1,700 miles per hour) and a combat radius of 1,000 kilometers.
