Process Operators (X10)
Reporting To:Mechanical Supervisor
Starting Pay: Negotiable
Start Date : Immediately
Summary: Responsible for the operation of the plant, working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, to ensuremaximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Monitors, controls, and records plant operations.
- Samples, tests, and records process streams as required
- Performs preventive maintenance activities and assist maintenance technicians in performing maintenanceand repairs.
- Participates in safety, health and environmental programs
- Works in safe manner at all times and familiar JSA,SLAM slogans
- Participates in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
Schedule:
- 12 hour shifts alternating between days and nights.
Skills:
- Experience in the operation of Iron or Copper Concentrator plant is an asset
- Must have the ability to learn and work effectively
- Mechanical experience is an asset.
Other Requirements:
- Valid Medical or Silicosis Certificate
- Working experience of at least 3 year in a mining environment
