I spent 20 years on Ohio’s death row for a murder I didn’t commit before the truth in my case became clear. When I say the death penalty makes mistakes, I know what I’m talking about. Now Ohio wants to restart executions after a three-year hiatus and we can't let that happen. Take action now to stop executions in Ohio. The death penalty will always risk innocent lives, there’s no such thing as a perfect system. But here in Ohio, Governor Kasich thinks he’s found the perfect system. After over three years without executions, Gov. Kasich is kicking the death penalty system into overdrive — he’s scheduled 27 executions! Tell Governor Kasich that the death penalty is wrong, unjust, and risks innocent lives! Resuming executions now is a terrible step in the wrong direction for Ohio. After 20 years sitting on death row, waiting to be executed for a crime I didn’t commit, I can’t sit back and let Ohio restart killing prisoners. I have to take a stand. Will you stand with me?
