Demand Justice for Strushie the Cat!

Dear friends, Everyone loved Strushie, the stray cat who was often seen hanging around the Franklin Hotel in Miami. Everyone except for the man who shot him in the head twice with a bow and arrow. Strushie was found bleeding under a bush outside the hotel by a woman who often fed him. She rushed the poor little guy to a vet, but he had to be put down because of the severity of his wounds. After an intensive investigation, Miami Beach detectives were able to find the man who shot Strushie. He has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty and tampering with evidence, but he could get away with simply paying a fine. Care2 member Penni has created a petition demanding that the cat killer be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Will you sign her petition? When police went to look at surveillance tapes to see who had killed Strushie, they found that the tapes had been erased. But thanks to the U.S. Secret Service's Electronic Crimes Task Force, they were able to recover the lost footage. The recovered tapes showed a hotel clerk stalking Strushie with a crossbow hidden behind his back. Then he shot twice into the bush where the poor cat was hiding. Two arrows pierced Strushie's skull and brain. No animal should be hunted and killed like that. Help make sure that the cat killer is held accountable for his cruel actions.
