Kariba Harvest Limited (KHL) under Lake Harvest Group (LHA) is looking to recruit a university graduates in Finance, Sales and Marketing or Aquaculture, these positions are in Lusaka and Siavonga.
Kariba Harvest Limited (KHL) is a Greenfield investment and a vertically integrated tilapia farm/ sales and distribution with the capacity to produce 12,000t of annual harvest per year. KHL is located in Siavonga, Lusaka and other surrounding towns along the line of rail and eastern province c. 10km west of Siavonga along the shores of Lake Kariba. KHL and LHA are part of African Century Foods Limited (ACF), which is an Africa – focused investment company implementing a strategy to create the largest white protein producer in sub-Saharan Africa (outside of South Africa) focusing on tilapia and poultry.
In addition to KHL, ACF has two other tilapia farming operations: Lake Harvest Aquaculture (LHA) in Zimbabwe and Lake Harvest Uganda (LHU), formerly known as SON Fish Farm, in Uganda. LHA is the largest tilapia farm in sub-Saharan Africa (c. 8000t production in 2012), whilst LHU is still in its infancy (producing c.305t in 2011)
The successful candidate will undergo a two year graduate trainee program and after successful completion of the two year program, the candidate will be given an opportunity to build a career with one of the biggest tilapia farms in Africa depending on their performance. This traineeship at Kariba Harvest limited based in Siavonga and Lusaka.
