Allegany County considers abolishing some positions

This resolution will be considered by the Allegany County legislature when it meets July 10th -

ABOLISHING MULTIPLE VACANT POSITIONS WITHIN THE

EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING DEPARTMENT

Offered by:  Human Services Committee

RESOLVED:

            1.That one position of Senior Account Clerk Typist (AFSCME, Grade 10), one position of Account Clerk (AFSCME, Grade 7), three positions of Senior Employment and Training Counselor (AFSCME, Grade 17), one position of JTPA Supervisor, three positions of Remedial Reading Teacher, and two positions of Summer Youth Counselor are abolished in the Employment & Training Department.

2. That this resolution shall take effect July 11, 2017.
