During their summer tour in Cyprus and Greece, the dynamic rock trio from Nicosia “The Low Spark” will be playing at Technopolis 20 garden. This leading alt-psych-rock band on the island was formed in 2009 originally as a cover band, but slowly and steadily they began to compose their own material. The Low Spark’s live shows are exciting and full of energy with long trippy improvisation segments and a distinguishing
big sound. Guitarist Mario Michael, bassist and vocalist, Lefteris Moumtzis and drummer Stephanos Meletiou are key figures in the local music scene, but their joining forces on this project definitely brings out a remarkable musical result.
Directions: Head into town from the Debenhams roundabout and turn right just before the Makarios statue, over the crossroads then right again just past the big white court building, and the venue will be found 200M on the right with parking on the left.
