Trump desperately wants to declare the Russia issue over and, as he told Comey, get out from under "the cloud" so he can get back to his agenda. That ain't happening. 

On the contrary, Comey's testimony (and I suspect the closed testimony of the four intelligence chiefs last week, who wouldn't say it in public) has put obstruction of justice and abuse of power front and center as issues
