Gastronomy is an integral part of every region’s culture. Geroskipou has created the sweetest tradition as it produces the Loukoumi Geroskipou since 1895, which is the only one of its kind and has been internationallyregistered with the EU Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). Students from seven Elementary schools of the area will create sweet-mosaics, with a theme that will be chosen by the schools themselves, while colourful pieces of the delight will be used as their tesserae.
The sweet-mosaics will be exhibited on Sunday, 24th of September, as part of the events for the opening of the Myths and Sculpture Park.
