June 19 is Mitzi Stout Day in Wellsville - Honoring the late Town Clerk

Wellsville, NY - Mary G. “Mitzi” Stout, 85, formerly of Pine Street, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 following a sudden illness.

Whereas, it is fitting and proper that decades of dedication, compassion and service to the town of Wellsville are deserving of recognition, and

Whereas, it is the just desire of the Supervisor of the Town of Wellsville that such recognition be made locally where warranted, and

Whereas, Mary G. “Mitzi” Stout was the Town Clerk for the Town of Wellsville from January 1, 1974 to December 31, 1999, and

Whereas, she served the people of the Town Wellsville with her willingness and knowledge, and

Whereas, she pledged to be ever mindful of their neutrality and impartiality, rendering equal service to all, and 

Now, Therefore, I, Donald S. LaForge, Supervisor of the Town of Wellsville, do hereby proclaim and establish Monday, June 19, 2017 as Mary G. “Mitzi” Stout Day in the Town of Wellsville.
