May 26 Workers' Initiative and its supporters in several cities organized information
campaigns concerning the current situation of public nurseries. The Commission has
initiated the inter-protest OZZ IP at Nursery Teams in Poznan, which for many years
fighting to improve working conditions and care in public institutions for children. ----
In Poznan, a few dozen people pikietowalo the Provincial Office, m.in chanting: "We want
money for bobasy", "More hay in nurseries", "Stop the arrogance of the state towards
women", "Nothing about us without us." Present at the picket nannies palatine Z. Hoffman
filed a letter of demands aimed at strengthening the health sector. The campaign supported
the organizing Poznan Manifa environment. ---- Rzeszow distributed leaflets with the
demands of childcare workers, and call for shared organize. They distributed them in the
city center and the nurseries No. 12, where is the management team of the Municipal
Nursery. Persons receiving leaflets often expressed its support for efforts to improve
working conditions in nurseries, and spoke about the fact that nannies work is undervalued.

Ulotkowania were also held in Bydgoszcz, Bytom, Gdansk, Szczecin, Torun and Warsaw.
To all those who supported the protest thank you. We hope that we will continue the joint
action to reorganize social relations in such a way that care has become a priority.

Proclamation workers nurseries:

A month ago the government presented draft amendments to the so-called. "Act nurseries."
It assumed, among others, increase the allowable number of children under the care of a
sitter from 8 to 10. The children are condemned to poor care and nannies to work beyond
their strength. Currently, authorities are heavy social pressure, claiming that "do not
want to worsen the quality of care." We ask when it will eventually improve it? While the
government withdrew from certain provisions of your project, we will not withdraw from the
fight for health sector development. As the Commission inter OZZ at the Workers'
Initiative Teams Nursery in Poznan:

* WE DEMAND a maximum of 5 children per carer;
* WE DEMAND a maximum of 25 children in the group;
* WE DEMAND increase the number of places in nurseries by increasing the funding of the
care sector;
* WE DEMAND clarify the concept of "child in need of special care";
* WE DEMAND reduction in working time;
* WE DEMAND change the naming of the child's guardian babysitter.

Not for the first time at the expense of workers planned to increase the number of places
in nurseries. In 2011. The government introduced changes to increase working time
babysitters. Then nurseries handed over to local authorities, some of whom decided to
privatize them.
Privatization called "socialization" planned to carry out, among others, Poznan, but
thanks to the joint efforts of synchronous managed to block this harmful project. As part
of the union Workers' Initiative from 2011. The fight for better wages and working
conditions and the appreciation of the welfare of the entire sector.

Our activity has led not only to maintain the public nature of Poznan institutions, but
also to increase wages by 30%, increase in spending from the city budget allocated for the
care and stop the increase in fees for nurseries for parents.
Today, again, we have to announce the mobilization. Our experience shows that we need to
work together to maintain contact with each other, share experiences. Since the 90s (when
closed many institutions caring for children) was not a government that really appreciate
the importance of our work. Politicians only passed on to us their project costs,
worsening working conditions and the situation of children and their parents.

We demand to increase the number of places in nurseries by increasing spending on the
health sector, rather than by increasing workload and deterioration of children's safety!

Our voice is particularly important because changes in care do not end up on working
conditions in nurseries. They define a way of thinking about health in general, which
affects the quality of life for all of us. Lack of access to care institutions increases
the free and the home of women's work affects the further development of the children.
Therefore, the fight is about to work better care institutions, concerns us all! If you
want to contact us, to exchange experiences and work for change in the care sector, please
contact us.

OZZ Workers' Initiative

Today, and for three days, a hundred or so LA congressmen are gathered to take stock of
the political and social situation one year after the movement against the Labor Act, and
while the Uber President promises us A neoliberal shock. ---- Much of the discussion of 13
th AL Congress will be devoted to the assessment of the movement against the Labor Law and
political period that opens with the election of Emmanuel Macron. ---- This government
promises a series of social regressions, the first of which will be the assault on the
Hussar's Labor Code by ordinances ... If this shock strategy works, then it will be the
promotion of self-entrepreneurship, Unemployment insurance, the breakdown of public
services, etc. ---- The stakes are enormous for the whole of the wage-earners, whether
stable, precarious or deprived of employment.

AL is betting that this government is in fact fragile. Its electoral base is volatile ;
Its social base is narrow ; It does not benefit from the label of the left which, too
often, intimidates the social and trade union movements. We believe that this fragility
must be exploited.

Faced with this, the social and syndical movement of struggle, weakened by ten years of
defeats, is itself fragile. Yet, his responsibility is committed. And this responsibility,
as revolutionaries, we share.

On the conference menu:

General orientation: a review of the last two years of LA ; The new political and social
situation ; How to apprehend the rise of semi-reactionary half-social revolts (Brexit,
election of Donald Trump ...) ; The security hardening of the regime and the attitude of
the revolutionaries ; the teachings of the movement tale Labor Law (union action interpro
convergence practice blockages, "  ruckus  " ...) ; The work to be carried out towards the
places of production ;
Environmental orientation ;
Economic analysis ;
Reflection on new technologies and commitment to open source software ;
Reflection on public expression of AL.
Thematic workshops are also organized around the monthly Alternative libertarian, AL web,
business and youth activity, the idea of "  changing scale  " in terms of functioning,
militant security, Feminist activity.

An outcry in the fachosphere, the City of Paris that embrays, then retropedale ... An
episode that speaks volumes. It should be remembered that non-mixing is not a societal
goal, it is a tool that allows people affected by specific oppression to organize
themselves. ---- During the presidential campaign, all the personalities of the "  Left  "
or almost all the great thinkers of the Socialist Party claimed to be at the forefront of
the fight against the extreme right. A month later, they take up the lies of the
fachosphere concerning an afrofeminist festival, the Nyansapo Festival. ---- The
collective Mwasi, a militant group of black women, notably co-organizer of the March of
Dignity and against the racism of October 31, 2015, is at the origin of this festival
which will take place in July. It aims to "  build sustainable strategies and solidarities
" around the specific oppressions suffered by black women.

The fachosphere has denounced, on social networks, a festival "   forbidden to whites " on
26 May. What could have been, and had to be, only taken up by the elected representatives
of the FN, such as Wallerand de Saint-Just, has in fact allowed some to get a little cheap
advertising during this election period. Some "  Left-wing intellectuals  " like Raphael
Enthoven and Joann Sfar use the term to denounce "  communitarianism  " or "  identity
withdrawal  " . As for the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, she declared that she wanted to
ban the festival !

But what is really happening ? The festival is actually organized in different spaces,
some reserved for black women (80% of the festival), others reserved for black people,
others for racialized women, and others open to all.

This practice of non-mixing, whether based on gender or any other social character, is a
classic in militant circles. It existed in the United States in the civil rights movement
of the 1960s (where certain meetings were reserved for racialized persons), in French
feminist circles in the 1970s (where certain meetings were reserved for women), and is
still frequently Used today.

It should be pointed out that non-mixing is not a societal objective, it is a tool that
allows people affected by specific oppression to organize themselves.

The festival is therefore not "  forbidden to whites  ". Some spaces are reserved for
Blacks and therefore exclude whites, of course, but nobody emphasizes that they exclude
Maghrebians, Asians, or black men for those reserved for black women.

It is terrible to see "  left  " personalities take up this lie from the far right to play
on fears. It is not a first, far from it, but it must be said and reiterated that one can
not claim to be antifascist on one side and play on the fascistic fears of the other. That
we can not use the voices of racialized people to get elected one day, and tell them that
they are exercising an identity withdrawal the next day, when what they are trying to do
is organize themselves to fight Against the multiple oppressions that the fachos and the
left of government contribute to perpetuate.

We strongly support the self-organization of the oppressed and we would like to express
our solidarity to the organizers and organizers of the Nyansapo festival [1].

While popular protest - and the economic abyss of previous games - led several capitals to
withdraw their candidacy, France not only remains in contention, but also candidate for
the universal exhibition ! ---- The election of Emmanuel Macron takes advantage of the
well-publicized French candidacy for the Olympic Games of 2024. Hardly invested, he met
the International Olympic Committee then on an evaluation visit to Paris. Yet this
candidacy has already caused scandal at several levels: its cost - 6.2 billion euros, when
most of the infrastructure is already built - and the political reversals it gave rise to
- Anne Hidalgo was elected on a program Municipality without a JO - and to complete the
atmosphere of conflicts of interests that presides over its establishment. It is indeed
the great love between the event agency Keneo and the French State: the first recruited
the former adviser of Valls in charge of hosting major sports events, Loïc Duroselle,
While the current candidate director of Paris 2024, Étienne Thobois, was one of the
co-founders of Keneo, from which he first infiltrated as a provider of the Olympic
Ambition association and then as director of the GIP (Public interest grouping) who
succeeded him to the government.  And that of course Keneo commissioned for preliminary
studies already doing it and already earn a few million contracts from public money[1].

Since there is only Los Angeles as a challenger, there is a risk of "  winning  ", then
the opposition should muscle a bit by the results on September 13, 2017. From which he
first infiltrated as a provider of the Olympic Ambition association and then as director
of the GIP (public interest grouping) who succeeded him to the government. And that of
course Keneo commissioned for preliminary studies already doing it and already earn a few
million contracts from public money[1]. Since there is only Los Angeles as a challenger,
there is a risk of " winning ", then the opposition should muscle a bit by the results on

on September 13, 2017.

Other project, same logic

At the origin of the French candidature for the 2025 universal exhibition, we find the
ambition of a deputy who has won the sirens of the "  territories " competition  in
globalization: Jean-Christophe Fromantin, UDI deputy of the Hauts- de-Seine. Its
association, Expofrance2025, through lobbying, has also entered the GIP which today
organizes the project, a global village in Ile-de-France, with other associated
metropolises as "  detours  " in the Course of the exhibition. While France is an
international candidate, four sites are competing with each other for the reception of the
pavilions, which are a staggering number of job creations and economic spin-offs. The
Plateau de Saclay and the Triangle de Gonesse are part of it, because, Like the Olympics,
the exhibition serves as an argument to accelerate the major works promised by Greater
Paris, but not yet acquired (notably the construction of the automatic metro system
serving EuropaCity). The winner will be announced on June 26th, while the end of 2018 will
be known of the country chosen for 2025.

We can not develop here all the (hidden) vices of these world-wide festivities, but we
urge the reader to go beyond the heavy local propaganda and join the opposition movements
so that they can be made hear.

OR VOTE WITH FROM THE UP OR FIGHT WITH FROM THE DOWN! ---- The dynamics of national
politics are shaped by the financing of corporations and their Companies to large or all
political parties of the order and their favorite candidates in the electoral disputes.
Whether through "legal" funding of campaigns, or corruption, the goal is that, when
elected, these politicians make decisions and act to promote corporate interests.
Politicians place the demands of corporations ahead of the demands of the population;
Proposals that should meet popular needs are eliminated or diluted by corporate interests;
Companies by means of bills minimize the cost of their production and their services to
maximize profit: low remuneration for long hours of work, pollution and aggressive
exploitation of the environment, loosening safety conditions at work, failure to comply
with Among other measures that show how these groups use the state for their own benefit.

The population, especially the poorest, suffers even more from these measures that cause
dissatisfaction - which, at various times, are accentuated by reports of corruption. In
this scenario, the media has the fundamental role of articulation and manipulation: to
make the population better accept these unpopular measures and selectively denounce the
scandals involving politicians who will be discarded, taking the focus of the political
problem as a whole and who they are The real corruptors: to a large extent entrepreneurs
and bankers.

Politicians who do not sufficiently meet the expectations of big business owners are
deposed, in addition there are internal disputes between economic and political elites for
their projects - characterized, to a greater or lesser extent, by attacks on the working
class.

Recently, in addition to the numerous cases of corruption exposed by Operation Lava Jato,
the Federal Supreme Court (STF) announced, on May 18, audios delivered by businessman
Joesley Batista of JBS [the world's largest animal protein corporation] in his
whistleblowing deal. The dialogue between Temer and Joesley was recorded in the
president's residence, without Temer knowing that it was being recorded. The audiences had
comments from the businessman about the tip that former president [of Chamber of Deputies]
Eduardo Cunha received to keep quiet while in custody - comments followed by words of
approval of the president, agreeing and endorsing this payment. Disclosed first hand by
Rede Globo, an emitter of enormous influence, Temer audios circulated rapidly throughout
Brazil, leading to a political scandal. Temer already had a very low approval rate - 4% in
April 2017 - and, not denying his involvement in paying a bribe, the president was at the
center of an uproar that deepened the political crisis in the country.

In turn, the syndical centrals and countless social movements and political organizations,
even before the audiences scandal, had already been calling for national stoppages setting
the "Fora Temer" [Out Temer], decided in their closed summit meetings and displaced from
their bases. The audio leakage only heated up and served as the final piece to legitimize
calls for the alleged General Strike Action and the "Fora Temer", "Diretas Já" [Direct
Election Now], “Eleições Gerais” [General Elections] among other flags allied to the
maintenance of the democratic farce.

Faced with successive attacks on the working class and corruption scandals, the main
response given by some syndical centrals is the electoral route, through direct or general
elections. However, we understand that this instrument of representativeness is nothing
more than a "dance of the chairs" of the economic elite, which puts in power those who are
better able to implement their political projects of advancing privatization, scrapping
public services and attacks on labor rights . We do not believe that this is the answer,
much less the solution to our problems, since historically we have seen that no government
was truly on the side of the workers and that support for governments and the construction
of candidatures are not enough to guarantee the maintenance and conquest of our rights.
In our understanding, only the struggle with the base, within our workplace, study and
home, may be the way to prevent draft laws that affect us in a negative way are approved.
This is because, no matter who is the president or the political figure in charge, we have
a National Congress and a Senate that stand in favor of these unpopular measures and it
will not be through the vote that people will be placed with the necessary conditions to
block the political reforms and economic conditions that are so damaging to us. In this
way, we can see that none of the answers presented by representative democracy is
sufficient to get out of the economic crisis: impeachment processes and elections are part
of the political project that the elites want to put into practice.

We do not believe that merely those called to National Marches in Brasilia will solve the
existing problems, since we will be going without social bases to a place that brings the
idea of centrality of power. The popular power is not in Brasilia, the power is where the
workers and students, organized or not, concentrate! The articulation at the national
level is important and should not be denied, but if this articulation is made in cabinet
conversations and without popular participation, it does not interest us. We must press
for the overthrow and dissolution of economic and political power, but with the popular
participation and the uprisings of the students and workers organized in their localities.
Only then will we respond and solve the crises that we face within this political
structure that fails and does not serve the interests of the population at large.

Lock and barricade carried out by metallurgical workers of Paraná

Prioritizing mobilizations in Brasília, rather than on the bases, and guiding solutions as
" Direct Election Now", imply abandoning the means of struggle constructed by the working
class over the years (strikes action, occupations, blockades, etc.) and the reproduction
of a project considered as "democratic and popular", largely defended by the Workers'
Party (PT) and which has barely favored the population for more than a decade in power
compared to the benefits offered to the most diverse business sectors.

Another important issue to be addressed is the recent calls to the "General Strikes
Action", to which we disagree with their content: we believe and defend the construction
of a General Strike Action as a way to stop these measures, but we believe that it should
be built in the localities, in the syndicates and the organization of workers so that they
understand that their workforce is what keeps the employer's profit and consequently the
basis of national policy. It is important to understand that a General Strike Action
should not be a decree of syndical centrals marking for certain dates one or two day
standstills. If they have start and end times, we must understand them as paralyzes that
do not carry the same force as a General Strike Action. And at the moment, it would be to
fuel illusions to say that one-offs will suffice to stop so many attacks.
We should be guided by the construction of a General Strike Action in a revolutionary way,
so that the worker is emancipated and fully aware of his political power and the need to
be organized in his place, building his syndicalist movement and breaking with the old
unions and “pelegas” and bureaucratic centrals that in its board the boss or the party is
the one who commands. Construction that we, as workers and workers in formation, must
endorse within the Student Movement and its base instances and call on all to participate
actively in this fight against the attacks that also directly affect them.
It is necessary that we organize and support the workers, it is necessary that the
production and the services are interrupted, it is necessary to amplify the radicalization
in the streets through the blockades with barricades, it is necessary to raise us in our
localities against the measures of the Federal Government and to construct another form of
power in a horizontal way, promoting direct action and dissociating itself from the
electoral projects that certain syndical centrals and movements promote in the marches and
paralyzes.
