Text from the CAB about the situation in Brazil. ---- Barricades in Paraná (Brazil) ----
Brazil is experiencing a political earthquake, breaking the rot of the country's elites
and further weakening the ties that hold them in power. The orchestrated operation that
allowed the recording between President Michel Temer and the owner of JBS, the largest
meat company in the world, alters the correlation of forces in the country and plays
gasoline in the political and social crisis. With political instability, the government
has more difficulty mobilizing its base and moving forward with reforms of retirement and
workers' rights, the biggest attacks on the working class. That is no reason to
commemorate, we must not take weight from these struggles. Now is the time to move
forward, to massify the mobilizations with the blockade of the streets, paralyzes towards
the general strike to block the social cuts and the reforms. We must deepen democracy, but
direct democracy, where the workers in their work, study and housing decide the direction
of the country. We can not accept the crumbs of those above, we need to impose a popular
program of social rights built and decided by the people. We need to build direct
democracy, in neighborhoods, in favelas, in slums, in land and housing occupations, in
factories, in schools outside the agreements of those above.

The coup that brought down the PT / PMDB's fourth mandate from the presidency made it
possible to begin a successful crackdown on the people at an overwhelming pace, with broad
support in Congress and in the media, notably the telivision network Globo . Michel Temer
approved the reform of education, the law of the ceiling of expenses, law of the
outsourcing, privatizations and different attacks - begun during the own government of the
Workers Party (PT). Decades of bureaucratization of the struggles for large trade union
centrals and the practice of co-opting leaders of large social movements by the PT have
helped and still help to demobilize the people and make it difficult to massify resistance
against these attacks. In spite of this, other sectors such as students and indigenous
people, Give renewed encouragement to the social struggle. The growth of popular
dissatisfaction with the pensions and retirement reforms of Temer manifested itself with
great impact in the streets, in the mobilizations by the general strike of the days 15 and
28 of April, making the coup makers back down with their proposals.

With more than 90% rejection, the Temer government has no legitimacy to support this false
democratic system. This only serves to keep the businessmen and the political class from
stealing and killing the people. The Lula and Dilma class conciliation government was a
government for businessmen and the rich, with some crumbs for the poor. And the
innumerable allegations of corruption only make evident the disgusting relationship of
favoritism that exists between big business and the state. Corruption cases are not
isolated events, but it is what causes the state and the private sector to move. That is,
the representative system serves not the interests of the people, but for capitalism, so
that the political and business class can advance their projects.

That is why "magic solutions" such as privatizations, outsourcing, attacks on labor rights
only serve to make entrepreneurs benefit more. In the same way are attacks on social
rights, attacks on indigenous and their territories, landless and peasants, women, LGBTTs,
genocide of black people and residents of favelas and poor neighborhoods, criminalization
of poverty. All are measures and policies for the right and the conservative sectors,
entrepreneurs, landowners, bankers impose their ideology, profit more, concentrate more
wealth and exploit more people. Entrepreneurs, like João Dória, are not different from
other politicians, are enemies of the people. If professional politicians are in
disrepute, The justice system tries to use legitimacy with anti-corruption operations to
increase its power in the state structure. The leadership of the Judiciary, the Federal
Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office, with sectors aligned directly to the United
States, have the massive support of the Globo network to accumulate power with dangerously
authoritarian biases. It is necessary to repudiate that escalation and to avoid any
illusion in salvation by the bourgeois justice.

Old media play a crucial role in the tangle of interests of the ruling class. The Globo
network, which supported the Parliamentary Law Mediatic Coup, built and legitimized the
current coup, now placed on the stronger side, with the Attorney General's Office (PGR)
for the departure of Temer. The purpose is to recover the conditions to approve the
reforms with the election of a new president by indirect elections. We can not
underestimate the role that communication giants play in the ideological field. The
position of the Globe against Temer does not mean any advance for the popular field. In
the discredit of the professional politicians she discards old bets, like Aécio Neves, and
orient their agenda by the worldwide tendency to leverage the candidacies of personalities
apparently "

It is necessary to question the reason for the denunciations to arrive only at this time.
Although they have ruled out some politicians and triggered some instability, the action
shows loyalty in the agreements between state and capital. The criterion is economic and
there is interest in defending a company that recently faced the operation "Weak Meat"; An
action that, if on the one hand showed the poor condition that our food is produced, first
served to American interests to weaken a competitor in the international dispute of the
meat market. It should be noted that it was the PT / PMDB government that fattened JBS via
the BNDES with millions of dollars, transforming the company into one of the largest in
the world.

Down and Left, Direct Democracy now!
The fact is that the pattern that led many people to the streets in that 1 year Temer
government can become a reality: Michel Temer's departure from the presidency of the
republic. And we ask ourselves: what now? What is the next step? We know that with
weakened coup leaders and their oscillating parliamentary base, there is a lack of
conditions for continuity in the processing of labor reforms and foresight. Now it is
urgent to massify the fight against the reforms and to recover the rights that were
removed by coup plotters from the past and from the current situation of the PT / PMDB. In
addition to stopping the reforms, we need to build a project that will make the rich pay
the account of the crisis and recognize the political elite, entrepreneurs and media as
enemies of the people.

Only the organization of the people and the pressure on the streets can prevent reforms
and attacks on social rights. Nothing will go in the direction of parliament. We have to
prevent entrepreneurs and the political elite from making their summit agreements and
blows to continue with their project. Mobilization and popular pressure are now necessary
and urgent to prevent the progress of reforms amid this instability. They are necessary
pressures to impose the popular guidelines to the government, also in the case of a direct
election. And the mobilization of the people today is urgent to prevent the worst of the
scenarios, which is a suspension of the elections in 2018 through a political-military
intervention and persecution of the combative sectors of the left.

The left electorera demands direct already to the Presidency of the Republic and the
Lulismo can appear, as in years back, managing to appear like supposed popular exit in the
middle of the earthquake of the political crisis. We can not fool ourselves! We have
affirmed and continue affirming: we must overcome the petismo and all his inheritance in
the left. The belief that Lula will have to face the crisis and bring improvements in the
living conditions of the bottom is not sustained. An election of Lula would represent only
another class pact with the bourgeoisie and the bosses, in even more withdrawn terms than
in previous years.

The important thing at the moment is that the struggle has to be from below and in the
streets to advance a popular rights program! Promote organization, mobilization against
the reform of retirement and labor rights and for the construction of a popular project
with independence of class. To catalyze the popular dissatisfaction in revolt and to
advance in the struggles in the premises of militancy. Do not let yourself be led by
punctual solutions, in that process of reorganization of the left and summit agreements to
save bourgeois democracy. There is no rabbit in cardboard, the output is to build popular
organization in the neighborhoods, in schools, in the workplaces with the poor and
oppressed people. We must demand the suspension of all anti-political measures initiated
in the PT government and continued by the coup leader Temer.

The moment is unfavorable for us oppressed and oppressed, but the crisis and the dispute
between the elites open space for other projects. We need to use dissatisfaction to
delegitimize that system and channel the social struggle.

Direct democracy now! For the suspension of all anti-political measures! Against the
fiscal adjustment and the rights cuts! Out Globo coup! Build People's Power against
Adjustment and Repression!

IFA-Brasil considers that the moment that the working people, precarious, unemployed,
students, and people in Brazil pass away is a threat to civil and human rights. ----
President Michel Temer of the PMDB signed a DECREE ON MAY 24, 2017, which places the armed
forces in the Esplanada dos Ministérios in Brasilia using a legal device for "law
enforcement and order action" with the sole purpose of keeping Power and create terror in
the population and opponents of its (dis) government. ---- The Minister of Defense
determined that the Esplanade of the Ministry in Brasília had been seized by about 1,500
members of the armed forces. Same action that already happens in several peripheries and
suburbs of Brazil, implanting the fear and the terror. At this moment, the Esplanade of
the Ministry, in the Federal District, is the territory of the armed forces. The
criminalization of social problems and the military response to the manifestations of the
people are historical practices in Brazil. Since 2013, military troops in the states have
been attacking disproportionately against demonstrators, as we see in large cities such as
Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Salvador, Belém, Goiás.

We warn that this action restricts the rights of the population to exercise the
demonstration against a corrupt and demoralized government by successive scandals
involving astronomical amounts of money. With this extreme measure we are on the verge of
a State of Exception.

There are two reforms in the national congress that contemplate the devastating yearning
of capitalism against the working people: labor reform and pension reform. Even with union
centrals and unions sold to right and left parties, the working people rise. We workers,
unemployed, precarious and anarchist people struggle against the labor and social security
reforms side by side and autonomously in relation to the union centrals.

The uprising of the working people of the great capitals of the country is beyond the
control of the trade union centrals, interested, above all, in showing the power of the
grassroots to establish agreements based on the interests of parties within the politics
of the State.

We consider that the radicalization of the manifestations is a spontaneous movement of the
foundations of working people, unemployed and precarious people who have chosen to resist
in the face of the assault of their rights and not to bow to the maneuvers of the trade
union bureaucracy. The bureaucracy and its trade union elite do not represent us, do not
represent working people, do not represent precarious people and certainly ignores
unemployed people.

In the federal district on 05/24, we repeat the picture that has been drawing in recent
months, where the working base assumes radical and necessary actions in the face of
calamity, even against any prescriptions of union bureaucrats and not without suffering
the harsh Penalties of state repression and of their own trade union centrals.

In any case, whether or not this president falls, we know that by maintaining the
political and government regime in capitalism we will never achieve social justice,
economic equality and individual and collective freedom.

Outside Fear yes. But ... We do not want to return Dilma, we do not want Lula president,
or any other political person and his parties with all rush of the right or left. We do
not want direct or indirect.

We want economic equality, freedom of organization, self-management to control production
and our lives, on the streets, in the countryside and in the cities.

No political bosses and professionals, no parties and the bastard who feeds on the misery
of the people and explores every second of the sweat worked in long days living squeezed
in the Brazilian peripheries.

Today, to build resistance in the workplace, in the fields, in the streets, in the
neighborhoods and in the cities, in order to continue and fight for a deep and broad
social change in Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico and Chile until the end of the
capitalist frontiers and The freedom of all peoples, of the working and precarious people
of Latin America and the world.

Not the labor and social security reforms.

Resist, fight, organize

The 'axes' out of the movement ---- If the elections must be removed if the student unions
have to change form, if the collective proceedings should be horizontal beyond
commissioning and bureaucracy, it is a matter of the same student / mation and not some
group of thugs. In the student movement itself is what will decide the characteristics and
structures would have. The prohibitions So whether by the State or by bosses, either from
an antisocial group is necessary to find opposite each collectivity seeking a liberating
transformation of society for the oppressed / s. ---- Zero tolerance for bullying
practices. To fly the "axes" out of the movement ---- On Wednesday 24/5 from morning until
evening took place in most schools in the country, the election of student clubs. In this
context they made the previous days several speeches and rallies and distributed
propaganda against the elections under antieklogikis campaign "ran" libertarian
collectives and shapes.

In stark contrast to this political positioning, Wednesday made attacks on schools and
particularly brutal impression caused by the violence of a group that tried to approach
the Laboratory at the time of the election process as used smoke bombs, sticks up ax! The
initial repulsion of the space that held the student elections took over the stewardship
of the student association, and then took action by police using chemical and excluding
the area for some time.

Particularly violent attacks in order to approach the area where men and women students
would vote in student elections in no way constitute a part of kinematics contradictory
procedure with the elections, the delegation or the boards. In contrast are the product of
deeper authoritarian values, competition, domination and imposition of power. Ie values
that are pillars of the capitalist system and the hierarchical structuring of society and
values that the state and capital continually seek to sow among the oppressed in every
school, in every workplace and ultimately in every social aspect.

H violence is nothing more than a confrontation means it should be a tool for the
libertarian, labor or student movement only when used against the Capital and the State.
In all other cases the violence is an antisocial behavior that aims to impose through
force and substantial separation between the oppressed. So any tendency towards the
fetishisation, we think that is highly detrimental to the cause of social liberation.
Finally, it is not only the behavior of this group that bothers us, but the antikinimatiki
of perception. The logic that may appear as Punisher searching for "kommatoskyla" or other
demons, spreading terror in every direction, having declare itself as a "pure race" to
enforce the order against the bureaucracy of the clubs, the elections etc. .

If the elections must be removed if the student unions have to change form, if the
collective proceedings should be horizontal beyond commissioning and bureaucracy, it is a
matter of the same student / mation and not some group of thugs. In the student movement
itself is what will decide the characteristics and structures would have. The prohibitions
So whether by the State or by bosses, either from an antisocial group is necessary to find
opposite each collectivity seeking a liberating transformation of society for the
oppressed / s.

Commemoration of the seventh anniversary of the death of Maxwell Itoyi in Warsaw ----
Maxwell Itoya was an ordinary man - he had a wife, three children, wanted a normal,
peaceful life without deprivation. He worked hard as a shoe merchant at the market in and
around the National Stadium. However, not live to see the opening of the largest sports
arena in Poland. He died mortally wounded in the femoral artery 23 May 2010 year. He was
killed by the policeman Artur Brzezinski. ---- What deserved death at age 36? What to
blame? His crime was that he was a black immigrant from underprivileged social class, who
found himself in the wrong place and time, in the course of routine police roundup
economic marketplace. That day, as usual, the police started to check whether traded
bazaar are not in goods on which tax is not discharged - counterfeit Nike and Adidas.
During the attempt to arrest one of the black marketers Maxwell walked up to a policeman
trying to help mediate, calm the nervous situation and provide translation (he spoke good
Polish). The policeman, who had already waved his arms erratically (measured while earlier
in the belly of another black people who came over to help and explain the situation),
after a brief exchange of views just scored sprawling Maxwell. The bullet hit in the
thigh, passed through the buttock. The officer panicked, Maxwell was not allowed to give
first aid. Itoya bled in the tunnel railway station Warszawa Powisle.

May 23, 2017 year once again met and we met at exactly the spot to commemorate his death.
We lit candles, symbolically we marked this as the Square. Maxwell Itoyi, reminded the
circumstances of the murder. This date is not only the anniversary of the death of our
friend, but also a day to combat institutional racism of the state. Racism, which is also
based on social inequalities, which are rooted in the capitalist system. As revealed later
eyewitness accounts, Maxwell's death at the hands of police was only the tip of the
iceberg. Everyday bazaar brutal and humiliating checks on immigrants and immigrant women
concerning both the legality of their stay as well as the legality of the products sold.
At the same time, the original owners of these brands benefit from the exploitation of
workers and employees around the world without any consequences.

The sense of injustice grows, if we realize that the people who flee their country by
unbearable poverty are the most deprived of the possibility of choice of employment. As
indicated by one of Nigerian activist who is trying to build in Poland Nigerian diaspora:
"[Blacks]They trade in the bazaar, because the Poles refuse them to work, such as those
who have legal papers. Why? Because they are colorful. It's pure racism, but
niewypowiadany openly. " Maxwell's death as a lens indulge in this case understood
literally, murderous entanglement of race, class and immigrant's legal status. Combination
of factors, which, for example. John Godson - Pole Nigerian origin, former MP, manager,
entrepreneur, Poland rather not experience. Even though it is black. His appearance,
however, the world differently - is already legally Pole economically does not need to
fight for survival, access to health care, kindergarten for children. It does not have to
compete with the Poles about the cheapest on the market rent housing, probably because he
could be the person who rents an apartment to others. Without questioning the fact that
they had experienced racism, but certainly does not pass to the other side of the street,
when he sees the police for fear of security control. Maybe that's why Mr. Godson says
that, in fact, in Poland there is no racism: "There is a difference between racism, and
what we observe in Poland - low intercultural competences. (...) Low intercultural
competence is a situation when the difference of people react with fear, and this is due
to ignorance. " I wonder if Maxwell could explain what happened to his low functionaries
intercultural competences?

The Cabana Anarchist Federation has publicly demonstrated its repudiation and outrage at
the action of the Military Police of the State of Pará, which resulted in the massacre of
ten peasants and 14 shot in the Municipality of Pau D'árco in the South of the State.
Under the plea of reinstatement of tenure and enforcement of prison terms at Fazenda Santa
Lúcia, PM and civilian police promoted another blood-stained slaughter in this northern
portion of Brazil. ---- The peasants were camped outside the farm and claim part of this
latifundio that was shouted by the farmer known in the region as Norato Barbicha, who had
already died. Relatives of the farmer, especially the widow, remain on the land grilada.
The workers started this fight since May 18, 2015 claiming part of the land for agrarian
reform purposes. Negotiations had already been made. And the agreement had not been
effected by disagreement of the supposed owners with respect to the value of the
indemnification paid by the INCRA.

The large media serving the interests of the latifundio and the state call the
"confrontation" what happened. Showing hunting rifles to justify violent action. However,
information from surviving peasants, including the same family that lost seven of its
members in the slaughter, said there was no resistance and that the police arrived at the
camp already firing. The action was coordinated by the DECA - Redenção Agrarian Conflict
Office.

This case is one more that is added to the scale of violence promoted by the latifundio in
Pará. In the last ten days of April (month of struggle for the peoples of the Latin
American countryside) were seven murders. The comrades Kátia Martins in the January 1
settlement in Castanhal and Etevaldo Costa (with torture) in Eldorado do Carajás were the
cases highlighted in April. In the last 10 years the state of Pará has been leading the
ranking of violence in the Brazilian countryside with the impressive mark of 103 murders
during this period.

The increase in violence in the Pará countryside occurs in a context where agrarian reform
has stagnated. You are completely paralyzed. The last governments of the PT (Dilma
Roussef) and the PMDB (Michel Temer) took charge of withdrawing 600 million reais from
this policy. Immobilizing it completely. The cut of funds and collusion of the Government
of the State of Pará, Simão Jatene, of the PSDB increase this picture of murders and
criminalization in the field.

We at FACA reaffirm our solidarity and struggle with peasants from Pará. We demand the
resumption of the agrarian reform process with expropriation of the latifundio without
compensation to the farmers. We demand the conviction of the main culprit for more this
slaughter in the field: Simão Robson Jatene, Governor of Pará.

To our dead no minute of silence.

A lifetime of fighting.

In this world there are two worlds. Two worlds coexist but necessarily at the slightest
opportunity emerges their oppositional nature. One is the world of the bosses, the world
of the gain in every way, a world reproduced against human life, develops destroying
humans, sucks as a parasite operator sweat other. And there is the world of work, this
world that lives by selling his labor power, who knows how to survive must agree, that the
stolen what belongs to him, what he has produced. It is a world that sees its members be
sacrificed for the profits of the employers, a world that will truly live free and will
unfold the most of his creative potential when untangle the world bosses. They are two
worlds that are in a low-intensity war. ---- In Greece this war has killed and injured.
Accidents that occur far exceed the results of a coincidence or a bad luck that they can
eventually be classified as "accidents". On Thursday afternoon, three people of working
class faced with this atrocity that is evolving daily galleys to modern workplaces. On
Thursday afternoon three workers are hospitalized in serious condition just for one
reason: because their bosses decide. No other reading may not be accepted by anyone who
has a rudimentary touch with reality.

These three employees (33, 40 and 27 years old) company Top Gaz  Aspropyrgos, a
self-proclaimed "family business", property Paraskeva Tsengelidi . In the area of its
factory Top Gaz where gas cylinders are constructed, resulting explosion caused the three
workers, who had the misfortune to be present, to be injured and transferred to hospital
with severe burns on the face. These two Greeks and a Pakistani with the latter being the
more serious condition of all.

The responsibilities of employers for this fact is obvious. In the company there was a
technical security personnel so that the lives of workers being permanently compromised.
Moreover, the company did not deliver Occupational Risk Assessment, a study is a
prerequisite in order to enable a company of this type to operate . These two omissions
are deliberate, resulting from the intention of employers to reduce the operating costs of
the business and just for this reason the term "accident" is acquittal and neutral. Not an
"accident" was not accidental. Some consciously decided to save money at the expense of
human security. The three employees of Top Gaz emphasis have been accepted attempted murder.

These three employees are added to a long list of thousands of people a day went to their
work and eventually came to be at death's door in the hospital. In Greece this fact is
established for good. The numbers also speak for themselves: from 2010 onwards (and with
no more detailed statistics for 2017) have a total of 38 850 similar cases happen! On
average that is 425 people per year have been hospitalized because of the prevailing
conditions in their job. The deaths of these cases totaled to 5.550!

The numbers ending any debate as to whether it really is 'accidents'. In Greece there are
a handful at serial killers, which is thoroughly protected by the State and the handful of
bosses. The safeguarding of colleagues and our female counterparts from this handful is
protisti need for the labor movement. GSEE, as a minion of the bosses there for calling
strikes are intended to defeat, can casually whistling. But the true labor movement,
people who struggle every day to improve their lives should take matters into their hands
immediately.

The provocative immunity of the bosses of the political system are expected in our eyes.
The state can not live without Chapter and Chapter can not live without the state. But the
working class can and must live without their parasitic presence and for this reason will
refuse to qualify the murder attempts occurring cluster within the workplace and will not
enter the process to realize the riskarisma lives as part a normal and self-evident
reality. The labor movement must be put at the forefront of the demands of the tightening
of safety requirements for workplaces and upgrade worker protection measures. Claim
through strikes and antiergodotikes actions to stop the employer's arbitrariness in every
workplace.

Employees and workers will defend our class will not let it become a prey to the appetites
of the bosses.
