DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Successful Candidate will be reporting to the Deputy Director – Programme Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and shall be responsible for:-
(i) Co-ordinating effectively, donor participation in order to ensure implementation of sectoral programmes;
(ii) Ensuring effective programme planning and design in order to deliver effective programmes and achieve sector goals and objectives;
(iii) Ensuring effective periodic monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes in order to assess implementation of sectoral programmes;
(iv) Ensuring effective periodic and timely sector performance analysis in order to ascertain achievement of sector goals and objectives;
(v) Supervising effectively, the financial, human and material resources in order to ensure efficient attainment of section objectives; and
(vi) Managing timely, the development of individual and section work plans in order to monitor and evaluate performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
(i) Applicants must be aged thirty (30) years and above;
(ii) Must have:-
· A full Grade Twelve (12) / Form 5 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits including English Language and Mathematics.
· Minimum of a University Degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics or equivalent.
(iii) Minimum of five (05) years’ experience of which two (02) years should be at senior management level in programme planning, projecting management and budgeting.
