My man, you and I are dancing to the same tune. I too love my wife. Best friend and best thing to happen to me. I too am 40 and i too have a son (12) who has been a bit freaked at times.
Each person will only accept what the are capable of, and ready to learn. That said, what appeals to her? Is she a stability craving person? Excitement? Closeness?
Whatever that is, give it to her. In the moments that my wife has either wanted to put me on the curb or wanted to walk herself, I have been blessed enough to have her just give me a little bit of patience.
Find that starting square. Something you can work on together that is her passion and your spirit to supplement. I can tell you, i don't want to lose my queen either. But i can no longer change who i am and what i know. So i am trying to do all that i can too.
Pray, pray to the lord, to the angels, to ANY and EVERY higher power, being and force that you can to have her heart softened so she can stand to witness and then the manifestation may slowly open her eyes, mind and heart!
I pray for you. Without our complete selves, we might be manifesting a bit like Humpty Dumpty... Believe it will work out, let her feel your love and dial in on her. Until she knows she cant live without you again!
