To all of my fellow lightworkers: Thank you, thank you, thank you, for reviving a dream lost for 25 years!!! This is how you gave me back my dream …

I got into the metaphysics world at the age of 17 in 1968 by my mother, who introduced me to the works of Edgar Cayce. From there I was off and running. When I married, my husband and I found a spiritual center that was in harmony with Cayce’s works and the metaphysics world. I spent 3 years formally studying consciousness, the mind-body connection, and other methods for healing the self. I began discovering my own abilities, and then I began teaching what I knew and assisting others in their healing.

With a co-founder’s help, in about 1989, I started a meditation group that grew into a healing group as well. We used our own money to get it started, and soon we grew into a new space where we expanded from a conference room rented 1 night a week, to providing a meeting room and a couple of treatment rooms where teachers, spiritual counselors, energy workers and other alternative healing practitioners could work for a nominal fee. We welcomed everyone from all religions and all walks of life.

We weren’t making enough to keep it going through room rents and donations, so I kept putting 10% of my own money into it with each paycheck. At that time I was working full time as a paralegal, raising 2 teenagers, putting out a newsletter, teaching classes, conducting group meditations, managing the center’s finances, etc. I began to dream of finding the funding for expanding to provide a free-standing facility with more meeting rooms, treatment rooms, individual and group meditation rooms, classrooms, and a library for seekers to study metaphysically-related subjects.

I guess the overextension of my physical resources and a failing marriage did me in, and in 1992 or ’93, due to health problems and emotional exhaustion, I had to close the center. I was devastated, depressed, and pretty much lost touch with the metaphysical world for years. But I wishfully hoped that one day I would have the opportunity and the funding to open an expanded version of the original center. The years passed, and I finally just gave up the dream. I lost the joy and fulfillment I had felt doing healing work and running the center. I had struggled financially all of my adult life, so I figured I was never going to be able to get the funding to open another center.

Then a very dear friend told me about this website community, where I was introduced to Zorra, OWK, Yosef, Tank, and the rest of you. Through the wisdom and encouragement of all of you, I learned that not only would I NOT be forced to seek funding, but: by investing in what little currency I could afford, I could fund it with my own resources, and I could also fund as many humanitarian projects as I could find! After so many years, I once again feel a joyful purpose in my life!

So to Patrick, Zorra, One Who Knows, Yosef, Tank, and to ALL of you, I give you my deepest, most heartfelt gratitude for not only providing the encouragement needed to revive my long-lost dream, but also for giving me back my joy in life. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude, and my deepest love and light. May we all work together with joy, peace, happiness, and (of course) prosperity.
