"Tonight's Word: Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires" - Heisenberg - 5.14.17

One spring day in 1950, in the Capitan Mountains of New Mexico, an operator in one of the fire towers spotted smoke and called the location in to the nearest ranger station. The first crew discovered a major wildfire sweeping along the ground between the trees, driven by a strong wind.

As the crew battled to contain the blaze, they received a report of a lone bear cub seen wandering near the fire line. They hoped that the mother bear would return for him. Soon, about 30 of the firefighters were caught directly in the path of the fire storm. They survived by lying face down on a rockslide for over an hour as the fire burned past them.

Nearby, the little cub had not fared as well. He took refuge in a tree that became completely charred, escaping with his life but also badly burned paws and hind legs. The crew removed the cub from the tree, and a rancher among the crew agreed to take him home. A New Mexico Department of Game and Fish ranger heard about the cub when he returned to the fire camp. He drove to the rancher’s home to help get the cub on a plane to Santa Fe, where his burns were treated and bandaged.

News about the little bear spread swiftly throughout New Mexico. Soon, the United Press and Associated Press broadcast his story nationwide, and many people wrote and called, asking about the cub’s recovery. Smokey received numerous gifts of honey and so many letters he had to have his own zip code. He remained at the zoo until his death in 1976, when he was returned to his home to be buried at the Smokey Bear Historical Park in Capitan, New Mexico, where he continues to be a wildfire prevention legend. -Legend of Smokey the Bear

And that brings us to tonight's word: ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FOREST FIRES

I gotta say, I could not be more proud of DC right now. Now we may not be perfect in form, but in sprit, we've come so far from where we were only a few days ago. It appears to me that we banded together and drew our firebreak to choke out the fire. A firebreak is a gap in combustible materials so the fire will run out of fuel when it hits this vacant space. There's always the chance of flare ups but hey, gotta hold the line somewhere. Kudos.

And kudos to OWK our own private DCSI: Dinarland. Lieutenant Horatio Caine. "It looks like A troll got A whacked"

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

But seriously folks. Please allow me to explain it like this. Let's say one day we're having a good time at Paddy's enjoying each other's company. The health inspector shows up and says he's got reports of a few rats scurrying into the building. Paddy says no problem, go look around. But the inspectors are having a hard time because it's too loud and there's too many people moving around. So he asks if we can turn on the lights, turn off the music and if everybody could stand still for a little while, he'll be able to see them moving. Sure, we're just shooting the poo anyways. Watching the big game count down. No biggie. The inspector's just doing his job and Paddy always stands behind the boys in blue. And besides who wants rats in the bar? Gross.

Hey there's one right there. Walking right in the middle of the room.....right in the middle of the dance floor. Underneath that bright light. Poor fella must not know where he is because that was a uber obvious. Like a bull in a china shop.

That one was too easy but the other ones are gonna be a little harder to spot. They tend to adapt. But...it's much easier now that the room is still. Much easier now that the rats aren't moving beneath our shuffling feet and getting lost in the camouflage of our motions. Hiding in plain sight, is it? Slipping in and out of the chaos. And they don't stop moving. They are paid to move so they keep doing what they do. Just getting a little smarter about it. Staying in the dark. Coming in the back door. I mean, we don't want to be the ones getting in the way of an inspector doing his job right? Only you can prevent forest fires.

I'm in sales but I can't stand being sold. I do not like going to the mall for that reason. However, my friends in the industry love going to those car lots and putting those sales guys to the test. Hit me with your best shot. You're not just gonna give me a pamphlet and go sit behind your desk are you? That's bush league. Did you just hit me with the alternative choice close? Good for starters. What was that? Reduce to the ridiculous close? Alright now we are cooking. And finally the summary or take away close? I guess it's like two people comparing their craft. Like two sharpshooters sharing knowledge of the sport. Or vocation. Also kind of like us here. We are sharing future projects, expanding consciousness, learning to raise vibrations, acension, Law of attraction etc. We are honing our craft. Sharpening the axe together.

So it grinds my gears when I see a dark side sales guy in the room. You know, I don't like that term, so let's call them the corner boys. The corner boys making all that noise slinging that rock. You know, Springsteen talks alot about them. "I ain't got no time for the corner boys." But he also has another take on it recognizing they are lost with no direction like scattered leaves in a city that lies in ruins.

"Now the sweet bells of mercy
Drift through the evening trees
Young men on the corner
Like scattered leaves
The boarded up windows
The empty streets
While my brother's down on his knees
My city of ruins
My city of ruins"

Ok. Moving on.

Did everyone read up today? I hope so. Every day.

This game of tug-of-war is still being played. A recent post suggests we not expect victory cause it's all hard, amigo. It's not even And why? Cause our hearts can't take it? Cause our blood pressure will skyrocket? Aww, I didn't know you cared. Or so we'll loosen our grip just a little? We'll soften our knees just a little? Get one or two of us here. Get one or two of us over there. Corner boys are just peppering the steak. Basting the turkey.

If we loosen the grip, if we soften the stance, there goes the rope. And honestly I had to go back and see if my initial instict was wrong, but you know what they say about your first instinct. So lets just head down the rabbit hole while we recieve, shall we? It won't hurt.

I'm reading this post by Stevie and he mentioned "stress" at least 4 times. Like it's a bad thing. Always a bad thing. So I looked it up. Stress in small doses can be a good thing. It can help you perform under pressure and motivate you to do your best. That sounds like something that would benefit an athlete, right coach? So then it says that stress is your body's way of responding to any kind of demand or threat. When you sense danger, whether real or imagined, the body's defenses kick in to high gear in a rapid automatic process known as "flight or fight" for the stress response. So I guess it circles back to the body releasing hormones such as adrenaline which get the body ready for action. Kick ass or haul ass. Like a job interview or amping up for the big game. Or running from a red haired giant.

So it's got me asking, are we in a "fight or flight" situation? Are we in danger? Do we have a demand or threat coming our way? I don't see one. It's like we're simply waiting for our flight at Laguardia. Grabbing a flafel. There's no danger here. All I see are blue skies ahead.

Maybe by even hearing the word "stress" our mind subconsciously picks up that we are in danger even though consciously we have no idea what the true definition is. Subconsciously our brain picks up there is a threat or demand heading our way. Maybe that's why it's repeated so often in this post. Clever dick.

Is Stevie suggesting that by expecting the RV that it will lead to a threat or danger upon us? If so, that's a pretty slick sales pitch. Does this post assume that every time we try or expect something great that it will ultimately lead to stress AND being let down? The double whammy. I would think that that is a hopeless sort of attitude for intelligent adventurous chosen ones like us. The smartest best looking blog room in dinarland. Blatant pandering.

Stevie, if you meant to use the word "stress" like 99% of everyone out there, excusez-moi, Monsieur (hey, that's French) for going all Gil Grissom over here. If you had been rocking a barstool next to Twinklestar and Daughter of terra sharing your projects and awakening experiences from the last year, probably wouldn't have thought twice. It's just that Sir Whacks A Troll runs a tight ship and there are saboteurs afoot.

Speaking of our fearless leader, here's one you can have framed and put over your mantle, Richard. It's a whopper. Maybe we can put one over the crapper at Paddys too. Courtesy of dinares gurus. Hola.

"Negativity" - The Source Is One Who Knows/Richard Lee McKim, Jr. , 13 MAY

Since it is believed that negative posts are stopping the RV, then the source of the negativity needs to be stopped! Take a look at all the reactive posts and you'll find the source is One Who Knows/Richard Lee McKim, Jr. with their continuous daily postings about all the negativity.

If it is to be true that the Negativity is stopping the RV, then One Who Knows/Richard Lee McKim, Jr. shouldn't be posting any more. Both Patrick and One Who Knows/Richard Lee McKim, Jr. should realize this by now. Everything has already been said that needs to be said and it's all in the archives.
Should Patrick continue to post One Who Knows/Richard Lee McKim, Jr., or anybody else on his website, then that makes his responsible for stopping the RV.

It's really that simple. If the only thing that needs to be done is sending out the 800 numbers, then that's the only post that needs to be made.

Will Patrick continue to allow the RV to be stopped? Anonymous (Of course).

We are in no danger, family. We are loved and we are cared for. We have been shown the light and been freed from a life shackled and drawn. And we are blessed beyond understanding. And the butterflies you feel in your belly is just your body preparing you for your new life. Your new life in the sun. Kicking in a little adrenaline to wake you up. And after the 800#s?......Endorphins. Just a reminder that as we are learning and preparing to receive, we are still playing a little tug o war. Like at summer camp. And brothers and sisters, this is a new shirt. I don't want to get it dirty.

And for those of you who are single and afraid of raising those high expectations to get the guy of your dreams, here's the Lower Expectations dating site. You're welcome, ladies.

Homework is the same. Take a long walk. Talk to trees. Touch as many plants as you can. Eat an apple. Grapes are good. Catch a nap. Drink lots of water. Listen to your favorite song and sing it to yourself all day. Call your mother.

Ps. Lo siento, maestra. But the long distance dedication was to Prof Walter White. That man sure can rock a cue ball.

Many think they're hot stuff in this world, but until they got their own zip code, they can take a back seat to Hotfoot, aka Smokey The Bear. Not even Jeter gots that. Ps, Yosef, could you check out if they cloned the cap'n? He sure looked stiff today. Only you can prevent forest fires.

And that's the word

"Watchdogs"

You try to close your ears
And you try to close your eyes
But the blasphemies keep coming
Tempting you with lies

Give thanks for your protection
The watchdogs of the night
Who hold the hungry wolves at bay
And keep them out of sight, out of sight

You just don't understand it
But it strikes a distant chord
So you look for away of escaping
And sanity's restored

Give thanks for your protection
The watchdogs of the night
Who hold the hungry wolves at bay
And keep them out of sight, out of sight

You focus your direction
Cloak tightly pulled around
But somewhere in the distance
You can hear a haunting sound

Give thanks for your protection
The watchdogs of the night
Who hold the hungry wolves at bay
And keep them out of sight, out of sight

You're in danger of corruption
And you're always running scared
You cannot make decisions
You're completely unprepared
