"Too Much Money?" by Harmony - 5.25.17
I want to make a real difference to many people’s lives and have the plans to do so.
My approach to the money required is simple. I have tried to calculate my plan’s MAXIMUM cost for FULL implementation - over a number of years, and then increased that by 50% for unforeseen circumstances and new or evolving projects.
All monies will go to the Foundation and Trusts I will set up, not to me, so the continuity of the plans can be assured for the very long term.
This also means that I am more than happy to look to a 50 or 100-year settlement. BUT, I do NOT want to sign an NDA, as, to get the plans implemented will require scores if not hundreds of Senior Directors/Mangers who may need to know some details, and I do not want to put the plans’ funding at risk.
My plan is simple; - (but I would appreciate OWK’s views on whether or not it’s practical or even allowable).
I will ask for a sum of money, let’s say £800T to be deposited into the overall account, a non-interest bearing account. A sum of £1T is immediately available for my projects; - I call this my liquidity pool.
Every 3 months, a transfer of capital is made from my overall account to my liquidity pool to “refresh” it and bring it back to the £1T level again. This “top-up” is effectively what has been spent during the previous quarter.
If I spent the maximum of £1T per quarter, (highly unlikely!), the maximum I could spend would be £400T over the 100-year period, leaving a balance of £400T from the original deposit.
I would be happy to assign use of that £400T to the Bank. Whether they use it for funding other’s humanitarian projects or their own commercial activities would be at their discretion.
Hopefully, by providing the Bank with a large asset for 100 years, I would be assured of their wholehearted help with my projects.
Doing the sums, I would need a rate of £1.04p ($1.35) per ZIM, well below the screen rates quoted on this site so hopefully everyone wins, on NDA and I can get started………..SOON please!
