I had a wonderful experience up here in the Mountain. I want to share it with you.
I had been invited to hold a Reiki demonstration at the local hospital here in Big Bear. They asked me to help with their Pain Management Clinic. The goal is to find alternative means to deal with chronic pain, without the use of opioids.
I accepted the invitation without hesitation. I gave my standard overview of Reiki.
An elderly gentleman, whose left leg was 2" shorter than his right, volunteered to be my patient for the demonstration.
I started my routine of hand placements while narrating for the spectators. I had to shorten my usual hour treatment to 20 minutes due to time constraints.
When I had finished, my patient opened his eyes and simply said, "that was Beautiful". He expressed that his pain was far less than before his abreviated session.
The next part is what blew me away though.
Two of the onlookers asked me what I felt when doing a session. I told them that I feel heat. Some feel vibration or have visuals etc.
They both said they could feel the energy from four feet away!!!!
This is incredible!!!!
Not only did my client feel it, but people that it was not directed at did too!!!
Well this is my point. All energy is like this.
When we say or write or do energy healing, we affect others unknowingly.
This is a good reminder to be conscious of what energy that you put out there.
That seemingly harmless rant is absorbed by more than just who it was aimed at.
We possess more power than we know. Let's use this power of light responsibly.
