I have probably said this about 150,000 times in the past year and a half, but THIS is definitively, absolutely, positively, and without a doubt DEADASS the EXTRA stupidest stupid ever to stupid.
Indeed, we have now reached what I think--or at least hope--is peak stupid. This is the stupidity equivalent of having battery acid dumped over your head, that's how much the stupid of this stupidity burns.
Consider yourself warned.
Raul Labrador, an Idaho Congressman who voted for Trump "Care" and denied that health care is a basic human right, had the ginormous nads to go to his home district and LEGIT tell his constituents that "nobody dies because they don't have access to health care."
Let me say that again because I'm not sure your mind can absorb the stupidity of this all at once, and you wouldn't believe it if it had not been captured on video. (Thank you, Steve Jobs!)

Let's follow the logic of this statement and play a little game called "Nobody [BLANK] because they don't have access to [BLANK] and see how it works. I don't need to cite evidence or a study to show you how fuuuuuuuuucking stupid this statement is. It's the same as any of these:
- Nobody starves because they don't have access to food.
- Nobody gets dehydrated because they don't have access to water.
- Nobody is poor because they don't have access to money.
- Nobody shits in the street because they don't have access to a toilet.
- Nobody freezes because they don't have access to heat.
- Nobody is unemployed because they don't have a job.
- NOBODY WITH TWO BRAIN CELLS TO RUB TOGETHER COULD POSSIBLY SAY SOMETHING STUPIDER THAN "NOBODY DIES BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE."
The only thing that hurts my head worse than this is listening to Paige and her friend sing karaoke on the iPad downstairs right now.
Nevermind what I said about not citing a study. Here's a Harvard study from 2009 that says 45,000 people per year die from lack of access to health insurance.
To put that in perspective, 3,000 people died on September 11, 2001. So at least according to this study, the number of people who die because of lack of access to health insurance adds up to:
FIFTEEN (15) 9/11's PER YEAR.
But, Harvard Shmarvard, studies shmudies, science schmience. Enjoy your so-called job while you have it, Raul. Come 2018, your dying constituents are going to cancel your ass.
