The Olean man who tried to rob the Five Star Bank on West State Street in Olean last year has admitted to the crime. 27-year-old Stacey Spencer Jr. pleaded guilty in county court to felony attempted robbery. Last March, police said Spencer entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. He’ll be sentenced August 7th.
