Dear friends –
Taiwan just made history. Earlier today, the country's constitutional court ruled that same-sex couples have the right to marry.
That means Taiwan will be the first country in Asia to make marriage equality a reality!
It could take up to two years to implement a change in marriage laws, but there’s no going back. Love has won in Taiwan!
All Out will continue to stand strong with our partners as they push lawmakers to make this ruling a reality as soon as possible.
Earlier this year, we worked with the Tongzhi (LGBT) Hotline Association to fund a huge media campaign in support of marriage equality. The donations of hundreds of All Out members helped partners take this to the finish line.
