THE HORSERACE

Beloved LightWorkers:

Have you ever watched a horserace? As the horses burst out of the gate a flurry of silks in colors bright and earthen-colored amaze the eye as you strain to discern your horse from the pack. There is a leader and a laggard, but they are not always the same horse. The leader sets the pace and the followers seek to maintain it and surpass it. Suddenly the horses cross the finish line and it is over, leaving you breathless to replay in your mind what exactly happened.

Attention LightWorkers: You are all needed.

Whether you be the lofty or the grounded, you are needed.

Whether you be the trailblazer leaping into the unknown or the one who grows incrementally learning steadily day-by-day, you are needed.

Whether you be the passionate or the laconic, you are needed.

For at different times we occupy different positions. This is human nature. Although we each have that God-spark within, we have also been given free will, and are each unique. And it is quite fine to be unique.

As history has taught us, slavery, emancipation, and the loving that will heal all are -- messy. But our momentum as a cohesive group will carry us each over the finish line.

And that is all that really matters.
