Grandfather, My heart fails with yours as the children of the Creator bash each other and complain and miss the blessings and beauty on the Earth and fail to hold with high regard the gift of life. I could not write this without knowing these flaws personally or the Grace of being taught a different way.
I believe the Creator sends gifts to be opened so that every individual will have an opportunity to see themselves well enough to learn humility. I also believe that from that humble place a person becomes teachable and is able to make the changes that will please the One that breathed life into them. I believe it is that transaction that creates the heart of a servant, one who leaves self-centered living and becomes other-centered it all they do.
In childhood, the demand was to "be good". Although I tried, I failed miserably. As an adult life was rocky and still is, but if I listen to the gentle voice in my heart I do not walk alone. It is the Teachers voice that guides. When I give up my own thoughts and driving desires and listen to what I have learned is best and then do it, I please the Father. There I find purpose and stability and am able to see my path laden with blessing. The work I must do and the people in my life, all, placed there by the Master to be blessed by his Love are also my blessing as I have learned to lay myself aside to become his servant.
What is shared in this post are words built on a foundation of hope that if we would all open the gift and learn what love is about we would learn that our journey would become an all-encompassing blessing. No longer would there be a need to build our own foundations, for the foundation would be "one".
