RE: Gerry Maguire Intel - 6 Zeros Off?
I had this question come up about the legality of the 6 zeros taken off on that Australian Group. To Be clear:
#1) The deal was "Pre-Agreed" to, long ago.
#2) The 3 cents per zim with 6 zeros taken off, was how it was "described," but the actual rate was whatever it took to get to the same value ($3 Million per $100T note) In other words, a VERY tiny amount per zim.
#3) Oddly enough, the agreed 3 cents/zim (6 zeros off) rate was ONLY on the 100T zim note. All others got a WAY better Rate. The original contract was negotiated at a time when they thought that only the $100T note would be exchanged. So the contract specifically named that single denomination in its terms, but did not mention the other sizes of Zim notes. So in this exchange, those with the $100T notes got about $3 million each for them, and the ones with the other size Trillion notes, got paid out at a rate of multi dollars per zim (Trillions). It was a very weird pay out plan, but none the less, they got paid according to their agreement.
