So... something to think about... hmmmmm……..If Iraqi news to us are behind, could it be that the news of Mosul's anouncement already happened? What about the rate? Could there be a rate change & we hear about it sometime, days/weeks later?

Excellent questions, in my opinion (or best guesstimate) we know for a fact that news articles are released for two reasons, its the information and the timing of education to the masses.
For example, if I had an accident with my Dad's 66 Thunderbird, when would the most opportune time be for me to inform my dad..........when he is at the happiest. This way he won’t punish me as severe than if he was mad already about something else......like when I wanted to see what color Freon was in the refrigerator, but thats another story.
We know that Abadi has a pretty good tight reign on the media, it’s even difficult to find many postings on twitter now of information, almost like a blackout. The articles we get, we interpret....in addition of the articles that we don’t get because those are the missing pieces.
Many of the articles are variations of what has already been reported long ago, just filler material......to stay away from the real news
As for "the announcement" there is a very strong possibility that the liberation of Mosul was "recognized" but not officially announced to the world in a presentation form.
As for the rate, yes, it can be hidden for a very short time because once it gets out it will travel like wildfire in the business world. The watching investors will be the first group to react to it as they are on it everyday. IMO, it wont be weeks.

MOSUL ! OK, now I have your attention.... Let's stop trying to figure out what is happening/done/not yet done. All we will do is tie ourselves in knots, because the media is deliberately laying false trails.
In fact, most of us will probably never be able to know with any certainty just what happened and when.
We have passed the point where such enquiring has any purpose.
The corner was turned on Saturday, when Abadi spoke at TEDx.
All that matters is when they choose to declare the liberation to be fully accomplished. It really is that simple.

Agreed 100% Upstart. And remember what Frank has taught us recently regarding Mosul, as we are passed it. We don't 'need Mosul' to activate the final steps in the MR, we are looking for Abadi to officially announce that Mosul is 100% mopped up and free of Daesh, including the old city and remaining districts.

I see this quiet period as the Lord giving us just a bit more time to get ready for this Blessing. We may not WANT the extra time, but we should still be taking advantage of it.
For me that means:
- Is my team all in place now? (financial advisor, CPA/tax people, attorney, investment advisor)
- Do I know what exactly I will initially exchange, based on the possible range of exchange rates?
- As part of the above, do I know what I want to set aside immediately for bill payoffs, church tithes, tax set-asides, etc.?
- Do I have my ducks in a row regarding trusts I want to set up?
- Is my letter of resignation ready to date, sign, and deliver?
- Have I got an idea what health insurance I need to buy to replace my current work coverage?
- If exchanging with other KTFAers to possibly better negotiate a lower spread, are those folks lined up now?
- Do I have a list of banks to talk to when the time comes, to verify exchange details such as spread fees?
Just the thoughts I have off the top of my head.
