Bynie Creek is currently being fostered in the Portland area alongside two mature female weims. If placed with another dog, she would benefit from the guidance of an older well mannered dog. While she knows her basic commands well, it is clear that she will be best placed with a family who can provide the time and patience needed for socialization.
Bynie Creek is full of puppy energy and will be best suited with a family who can provide her with ample exercise. She has been introduced to the water and loves to swim.
Please submit an application or email us for further information about Bynie as one of our board members is her foster and would be more than happy to discuss her.
Original Post:
Bynie Creek is a sweet 50 pound female Weimaraner/Lab mix. She’s a one year old that has plenty of youthful energy and loves to run. And run! She absolutely loves people! At times she is a bit clumsy and has a hard time containing her excitement. She is good with children and is currently living with a two year old. Because of her excitement level older children might be a better match for her. She is crate and house trained and knows; lay down, sit, stay, go, wait, back, turn around, gentle and fetch. She doesn’t have a lot of experience with other dogs but the interactions she has had have gone well. As with most Weim’s, Bynie chases cats and small creatures.
Bynie Creek would thrive in an environment where she can receive additional attention and socialization from her family. Unfortunately, her current family cannot give her the adequate time and attention a pup like Bynie requires. She does have a bit of separation anxiety and has been known to chew inappropriate items if left alone with them. Exercise, socialization and ongoing training are the keys to ensuring Bynie Creek becomes a wonderful family member
She is up to date on her on her vaccines and will be spayed prior to adoption
