On February 25, a demonstration was held in Nantes against the holding of a meeting of 
Marine Le Pen at the Zenith of the city the following day. Back on the event. ---- It was 
an expected manifestation, called by a panel as large as unusual political, trade union 
and associative organizations. The Collective against the extreme right and its ideas 
gathered in effect the CGT, Solidaires, Visa (Vigilance and union initiatives 
antifascists) Together !, The Young Communists, the Communist Party and the NPA but also 
standing Night and the assembly "  At '  Collision' (movement animated mainly by 
autonomous). So many components that crossed in the movement against the labor law but

The CGT chose to communicate its condemnation of police provocations but also that of some 
demonstrators. The other components mostly refused to play the media game of the division 
between good and bad protesters and demonstrators.

Nevertheless, the question of the breakage of materials judged symbolic (banks, real 
estate agencies ...) pose as always question. How are they perceived by the people we try 
to touch on a daily basis in our neighborhoods, businesses or schools ? The attack on the 
painting of the FN buses from Rennes for the meeting in Nantes, which made the headlines, 
raises the same questions. And it is undeniable that this action passed with difficulty in 
the discussions with the colleagues of work or the non-militant entourage. The protests 
against the FN are likely to multiply in the coming weeks as well as between the two

April 28 is a day of nation-wide mobilization against the austerity measures and fiscal 
adjustments of that are eroding workers' rights. Demonstrations and a general strike will 
be occurring, led by those who are being oppressed in Brazil, especially workers. We know 
that the effectiveness of these actions depend on the participation of the base in the 
preparation and organization. The strength of workers lies in direct action - the strike, 
the picket, the interruption of traffic, the march - in the workplace, in schools, and in 
neighborhoods; progress has stagnated in the summits convened by central unions that have 
capitulated to "business as usual" and ceased to be effective in their bureaucratic 
routines, congressional negotiations, and lobbying.

Modestly, members of the Brazilian Anarchist Coordination (Coordenação Anarquista 
Brasileira - CAB), will take part in the struggle on April 28, arm-in-arm with our fellow 
workers, our neighbors, and all those who must struggle against oppressive conditions to 
survive. We will join together with those who take part in the struggle on this day, 
independent of their political organization, choosing rather to rally around class 
solidarity and independence. Let us make clear that our struggle does not stand for the 
construction of electoral alternatives and that workers' organization will not be 
subordinated to any intention in this regard.

We believe in the general strike as a weapon of workers in the face of recent directives 
issued by politicians and bosses. We understand April 28 as a concrete measure in this 
direction. The day is not one of "show acts" or "symbolic" initiatives as some central 
unions are preparing in various locations. It is necessary to mobilize, to put ourselves 
on the offensive, because if we retreat, the general strike will wither and we will fail 
in our response to the attacks that the ruling classes are imposing.

April 28 is a strike to defend the working base!
We will struggle and organize against fiscal adjustments and state repression!
We fight for the freedom of Rafael Braga!

And a good one, at that! The workers from a CNT workplace section (sección sindical) have 
been awarded a massive compensation of 100,000 euros each and the reinstatement to their 
old jobs, after they were sacked by SECE, a company providing energy sevices to many towns 
in Spain. ---- It has taken three years of struggle, through which the comrades, with the 
union's support, stood their ground firmly against the company. Now they have been awarded 
the largest compensation payment ever in Spanish labour history, as an exemplary 
punishment to the company, for its repeated violations of the workers' rights and of 
previous sentences. ---- Not only is this relevant in terms of workplace relations, but it 
puts the new "leftist" (for lack of a better word) parties, such as Podemos, in the 
spotlight, as they refused to listen to the workers's complaints and continued conducting 
business as usual with this company where they hold the town councils. Despite being 
repeatedly told that SECE consistently violated workers' rights, they ignored these 
warnings and merrily awarded the company new public contracts.

As Revolutionary Anarchist Action-DAF, we marched against the repression and the 
restrictions of the state to Taksim, with our pancard “Anarchist Revolution with Action” 
in the 40th year of the Taksim Massacre. ---- Turkish State banned Taksim Square and 
showed Bakırköy as the place for the “May Day Celebrations”. We marched against this 
prohibitions with revolutionary organisations from Gayrettepe to Taksim with our slogans 
“From Haymarket to Taksim, the struggle is going on”. ---- During the march, police 
attacked the revoutionaries who insisted on walking to Taksim. After the police attack, 
the barricades have been made. The attacks and the burtality of the police, the clashes 
and the custodies continued untill the end of the day. Two comrades from DAF have been 
taken into custody after being battered by police. A press statement has been held in 
solidarity for the ones who have been taken into custodies for marching Taksim, shouting 
the slogan of “Taksim Square is the square of May Day”.
