Hi Yosef,
Where to start? Thanks again for bringing the side no one wants to look at. I'd like to add my thoughts. You wrote:

Let's unpack this.
"...they did so without a boast or wry smile..."
What discipline, huh? What renunciation. I am feeling the wry smile myself and I'm working to keep that grin to myself so I don't add insult to the already injured.
"...as Western Civilization now walks out the front door completely defeated, slumped over with a perplexed "what the hell happened?" look... beaten at their own game..."
Yes, indeed. There is need to grock one's flaming, ignorant stupidity in its fullness. Sorry but it can't be avoided. I am feeling that in my own being also. So very, very, very stupid.
"to live life as a permanent inferior."
Here's where I differ. I don't think so. First off, we are equal. After ignorance dissolves that is. In my experience, a true master will only make inferiority unavoidably obvious for the purpose of disillusion. Yes, it can go on for longer than seems reasonable or humane, but once that is done, a true master will not hold the student in a debased state. That's not the purpose, nor is it reality. Think about it this way: God's mercy is greater than imagined. By greater, I mean fiercer and more gentle. Maybe by the time one does comprehend God's mercy, that's it all done. Emancipation by flower. In that case, we'll just have to bear in mind that mercy is greater, mercy is greater, mercy is greater.
Think about THAT! Lol! Lastly, I know very well that it is easier to edit a post than to write it.
