Meer activiteiten, nieuws en duiding vindt u op onze website en Facebookpagina. 24/4: Uitnodiging 2nd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FAYLEE KURDS IN EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT Faylee Kurds, as their name indicates, are ethnic Kurds and part of the Kurdish nation. They have lived for millennia on both sides of the Iraq-Iran borders. For more information, please look at the program here. 24/4: Uitnodiging 1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON KURDS FROM ANATOLIA IN EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT The Platform of Central Anatolian Kurds in Europe is organising a conference in the European Parliament to discuss the situation of the Kurds in Central Anatolia. This conference will take place in the European Parliament on the 27th of April. Please find more information in the program. 28/4: Boekvoorstelling ‘De tiran van Tikrit’ (Dirk Rochtus) en ‘De Koerdische kwestie’ (Hugo Van Rompaey) Op vrijdagavond 28 april 2017 stelt het Koerdisch Instituut daarom enkele nieuwe boeken voor in boekhandel De Zondvloed in Mechelen: ‘De tiran van Tikrit’ van prof. Dirk Rochtus en ‘De Koerdische kwestie’, de vierdelige publicatie van het doctoraat van eresenator Hugo Van Rompaey. 4/5: Koerdische boekenavond in De Groene Waterman (Antwerpen) Het zijn woelige tijden in het Midden-Oosten. Om die reden brengt het Koerdisch Instituut op donderdagavond 4 mei 2017 enkele auteurs samen die recent boeken uitbrachten over de regio. Gedurende deze avond stellen de auteurs kort hun boeken voor, waarna je rechtstreeks met iedere auteur in gesprek kan gaan over de specifieke thema’s en regio’s die in hun boeken aan bod komen.
