Humor (While We Wait): The Beverly Hillbillies S7 E26

Published on Mar 11, 2016

The very last episode of season 7 finds Mr. Drysdale actually willing to sell their mansion! The dickens you say?!?!? He promised Mrs. Drysdale that if she stuck it out with the Clampetts for 7 years, they could move. What Mrs. Drysdale does not know is he holds an option to buy the mansion on the other side of the Clampetts, and it is 25 feet closer!

Enter Pat Boone, world renowned entertainer, who is interested in the mansion. Hilarity ensues as he gets wind of Granny's vittles cooking while Mrs. Drysdale tries to blame it off on fertilizer. Granny and Jed assume he's a hobo and want to help him. Jethro refuses to represent him saying he's going nowhere and he'd have to change his whole image. Poor Jethro, he just had no eye for talent!

This is the original night of broadcast episode, minus commercials, as it was shown on CBS Television in 1969. The episodes that have been featured on cable and satellite, plus the ones here on YouTube, are all edited down to about 22 minutes to make room for extra commercials.

There is no copyright infringement intended. Constantly Being Stalled (CBS) seems to be in no hurry to get the rest of this fine show out to DVD. If and when they do, I'll happily remove these. Until then, it's rather hard to infringe on something they've left sitting in the vaults to rot!
