Re "Seek First The Kingdom" by Jeff - 4.19.17
As Jeff states, "We are just here in this hotel of earth for a short time. What do we really own?"
It has always occurred to me we get to leave our brief stay here with only 3 things.
Our relationship to Source.
Our relationship to others.
Our relationship to ourselves.
The connection to Source is the deciding factor of the varying degrees of bliss one experiences throughout their eternal journey.
The connection to others is a lasting bond that carries over across lifetimes.
Choosing the low road in this dept obviously brings misery. Choosing the high road in relation to others builds deep & rich connections with allies across the millenia of time. (& Outside time as well - lots of deep loving going on in the various frequencies of existence!)
The connection to ourselves is being forged here in our current life, in the neverending waves of challenge/ease. The hard phases are the kiln for uncovering our latent qualities & talents. The pleasant phases are time to enjoy & take a deep in-breath of restorative goodness. An all-past-chapter-accts-leveled sense of a new clean & whole slate - before the next squeezing challenge begins.
Like contractions birthing our own depth. Or shall I say, the experiential awareness of our own depth.
The Baha'i Faith says we are here growing spiritual qualities for the next world we enter after this one. Like a baby grows legs, eyes, lungs, etc in the womb, uses them somewhat, but they're actually FOR the next world (here). Likewise, our deepened qualities are nice to have here but actually are even more fully essential for the journey that awaits.
Like this earthly experience is a Grand Central Station where many beings funnel off into different frequencies of experience when leaving - with a "like attracts like" frequency being the determinent of the next stepping stone on their soul-sliver-journey.
(As in you have your larger oversoul, birthed at the Dawn of Creation, and then all these "smaller" parts of You, having their own parallel ongoing-trajectory adventures across all of Creation.)
And this little pitstop being about deepening as many qualities as we can.
Love
Humor
Compassion
Integrity
Etc!
And anything else (like my new sailboat on the sparkling seas), is just optional cherry-on-top God-worship while visiting this gorgeous planet. (Every glistening ray of light off of that wave is my church, to drink in the Beauty of Creation.)
So, yes Jeff, here's to staying present to the things that really matter.
