Usually, the Fog burns off in the morning as the air warmed by the sun delivers new energy and causes change. Humanity has no authority with regard to this change nor the ability to supply the energy necessary. It truly is a gift from God and the benevolence of his Attributes that maintain all that is. He is not without a plan, and who is wiser than the Master of the Universe.
Humanity, his prize creation, the people through which he planned to enjoy relationship seem mostly void of this Loving intention. We, who are selfish and self-centered take his Gift of life for granted and are, for the most part, blind and barely see beyond our limited consciousness.
As fog evaporates into the atmosphere the process of life continues as photosynthesis stimulates the growth and development that sustains life. The fruitful and prosperous plan that the Creator established was intended to bless humanity, God's children. As history depicts humanity has brought elements of greed, dissension, and abuse into His creation and have disregarded the benevolence of God. How can humanity expect that its' days be any better than what it has sown?
An era of change has been gifted. The fog of the past and dark morning will be burned off and again the sun will deliver a new energy that will fuel an opportunity for change. Only as humanity determines to move out from under their indifference will change birth the prosperity designed by the Author of Love. Love is an active word. It is an action that seeks the best for others instead of self, thus it requires sacrifice. A sacrifice of self! For those who have been living under a cloud of self-gratification, it will seem like an impossible and painful transition. But because of the Fathers' plan of relationship and to extend Gracious benevolence to humanity, those willing to hold tightly to the new paradigm will discover that they had not only ignored the needs of others but their own best interest as well.
The Joy of tomorrow is coming and at hand but comes with a price. The costs of commitment to change, the humility to admit that self-centeredness must be replaced by other-centeredness and the love to count another's needs higher than our own are to be considered mandatory. Dedication to the battle for the sake of another will ironically bless all. The funding we will have in order to accomplish the task should be used as a tool, but true change can only be borne from the heart.
I sincerely appreciated "Burn off the Fog", as it gifted me additional thoughts about the need to walk with God. K
