Andover man gets felony count reduced to violation charge
An Andover man pleaded guilty Monday in Allegany County court to disorderly conduct, a violation count, after first charged with both a felony and misdemeanor count. Kyle M. McPherson of East Greenwood Street was originally charged with felony criminal possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of stolen property. Prosecutors said McPherson possessed a knowingly forged check and cashed it December 27, 2016 in Wellsville. Judge Terry Parker fined him $100 plus a court surcharge.
