On March 19th, following an investigation in the Allegany County Jail, Deputies arrested Alec T. Pratt, age 21 of 117 Stevens Street, Wellsville NY, charging him with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree. The charge stems from an alleged phone call made by Mr. Pratt to a protected party named in an order of protection while he was incarcerated at in the Allegany County Jail on unrelated charges. Pratt was processed and then transported to the Town of Amity Court where he was arraigned and remanded back to the Allegany County Jail on $2,500.00 Cash Bail or $5,000.00 Bond. Mr. Pratt will reappear in the Town of Amity Court on April 26th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. for additional court action.
On April 19th deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy E. Sherwood, age 41 of Friendship, NY on an Allegany County Violation of Probation Warrant. Sherwood was arrested without incident, processed, and transported to the Allegany County Jail. Sherwood is to reappear in Allegany County Court at a later date for additional court action.
