“Let it Ride” is a term freely used in the gambling world and simply means “I'll keep my bet on the table and take another shot at winning.” I woke up last night with that thought resonating in my head. What did it mean? I’m not much of a poker player so I assumed it was a message about the long awaited RV. Yes, that’s it – let it ride. A simple reiteration of what we’ve already been doing for many moons now.
Most of us here in Dinarland are seeking some kind of drama in this unfolding story and many have become addicted to every micro-movement, evoking the fight or flight response which eventually wears us out. Sound familiar? But sometimes the name of the game is P A U S E. . . Sometimes creating a clear, open space is all that’s needed for something wonderful to come along and fill it. “Nature abhors a vacuum,” comes to mind.
So at least for today, everyone take a deep breath of air, clear your mind, get on with your day, smile at everyone you see and be grateful for life. The rest will take care of itself.
