Après une année 2016 articulée autour de la musique instrumentale à Venise et à Bologne entre 1650 et 1750, le département de musique ancienne du Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles poursuit ses aventures en offrant aux étudiants de 2017, un focus sur la diminution instrumentale au XVIème siècle.
Ce thème servira de point de départ pour notre colloque de recherche d'octobre prochain. Auparavant, vous pourrez retrouver nos professeurs et étudiants lors de diverses manifestations organisées par le Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles. On the heels of a successful 2016 punctuated by seminars delving into Venetian and Bolognese instrumental music between 1650 and 1750, this upcoming year the Early Music department of the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles will spend time exploring the theme of 16th-century instrumental diminutions.
This theme will provide a point of departure for our research colloquium, to be held in October 2017. Previously, you may have encountered our professors and students at various events organised by our institution. We would like to take the opportunity to share with you more information about future such occasions.
We would point out a significant change in our schedule (the roots of which likely date back to 1835…) : The entrance exams for the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles shall henceforth be held during the first trimester for the following academic year.
